It is impossible to know just what is causing your symptoms.
How long have you been on 4 tspns/daily advanced A*******e? Some people are very sensitive to advanced A*******e, and the same for Plus. It is also possible that you are allergic to one or more of their ingredients.
Feel free to cut back on either. Try half those amounts on one product for a couple of days, and then the other, and see whether it makes a difference.
Drink lots of water to assist your body's detox, if that is what it is. I have people tell me that drinking a glass of water or a Gatorade causes their headache to go away within the hour. If your bowels are loose, dehydration might be a factor.
I am taking 4 teaspoons of Advanced A*******e and 4 Plus a day. I had 36 symptoms and I am down to 11 - 4 are big ones though. I am hopeful. I am taking much less pain medicine and last month I had 24 pain free days -
It seems that you have had some wonderful improvement in a short time. I would encourage you to continue with what is working, but you are expert on how miserable the head and body aches with nausea make you feel. Are you willing to get better slower? It may be that lesser amounts would ease the discomfort. Try it and see. There is no rule that you must suffer a lot for a long time. A*******e and PLUS are basically food and you should be mostly concerned with what amounts are working, and when they stop working.
Feel free to tinker with amounts. There can easily be a 40 to 1 differential for individuals within a population on how much of a nutrient is needed to support health.

I know that I am doing my body good by taking this so I just take a lot.
I assume that you are talking about A*****ose. Because you got the detox symptoms with the increase in PLUS, why don't you go back to the original dose for a week or so and give yourself a break?... Or halve the difference in amounts and see if that makes a difference? Apparently you were already getting many benefits before you increased the amount. Have you perceived any new benefits at the increased amounts of PLUS, or are you just suffering from the detox symptoms?
The water intake sounds great. Are you using filtered water, at least? It is important to help the liver and kidneys with removing and flushing the toxins. Fruits and veggies, good.
PLUS is designed to provide precursor molecules for the body to make hormones according to its priorities. There are 87 identified hormones, and malfunction with just one of them, insulin, can cause death. People differ greatly with their response to hormone production. I find women to be incredibly complex animals with the ebb and flow of hormones and extreme individual variations of their responses. It applies to men also. There are men who suffer from satyriasis who show low levels of blood testosterone while others, who have much higher than average, are apparently normal. Women on birth control pills who suffer from cramps and clots often stabilize with pills that are 1/50th the strength of a regular prescription. When you tinker with hormones, results are predictible, but still have many exceptions and variations, so you need to observe and adjust. Just imagine what a doctor using horse hormones on human women has to deal with! Add to hormonal amounts the variations in nutritional status with multiple deficiencies and it becomes incredibly complex.
"Detoxing in cycles?" Yes, quite often and especially in women, but I find that women are more likely to be working on themselves and paying closer attention, than men.
My wife initially found that taking PLUS made her feel "wired," so tense that her nerves felt like "guitar strings." After a few months on A*****ose, she found while trying PLUS again that that had passed but she still did not like it because she got angry so easily and had no patience with slow, stupid, or obnoxious people. My nephew found that his sex drive increased tremendously, in his early 40s. A 70 year old colleague found that her period seemed to be trying to revive. An acquaintance reported that he was losing fat and gaining strength and energy. I could go on at length, but I seem to get no effects, even taking 8 a day, except maybe increased irritability.
So my advice is: You take charge of your health. Your doctors, M****tech associate, and others may have helpful advice, or not,... but you are responsible for your life.

Your history of so many complaints and the multiple beneficial results that you're having sounds quite complicated, but is consistent with many other patients' stories of their benefits from A*****ose. ie Often, I see a patient taking nutraceuticals for cancer (or such) and after a few months, it may be inconclusive that their cancer is improving, but their arthritis subsides, or asthma, or their insulin requirement is considerably reduced, so that they are enthusiastic about continuing. If the immune and repair systems get the support they need, they may turn around terminal illnesses even during the last stages before death. That is what I think....and know from many observations.
Are you taking a good multivitamin with minerals, phytonutrients, immune stimulators, etc as well? The body has many nutritional requirements and a deficit in any of them causes problems or suboptimal operation in systems.
a pudendal nerve problem which compresses my nerve and is causing nerve damaged so it causes pain in my vulva. I have been getting pain or 13 years but the pain has worsened the past 4 years.
Is this a result of childbirth or other injury? Or is it more of a neuropathy? If it is from an injury, have you tried a chiropractic workup, preferably by a DC who specializes in neurological problems? In general, they also tend to be much more open to the nutraceutical approach than MDs. (Just like with MDs, you may need to shop around to find a good one.)
each time the time with no pain in between gets longer - first it was 6 days, then 11, then, 14 and this last time 23 days.
That is wonderful. Was it occurring before you increased PLUS? I see nothing so far in your narrative that the detox symptoms have had accompanying benefits, that you were not experiencing before the increase.
I am also of the inclination that if something is helping me, I can endure a lot of discomfort as long as there is a goal and I expect that there will be an end to the suffering. I am not doctrinaire believing that you must suffer to make progress (No pain, no gain!) and that medicine should taste bad. This is not physical exercise that you must push yourself to your limit of endurance or pain tolerance so that your limits and capabilities grow and extend to new levels.
Meanwhile, I am glad for you that you have eliminated so many problems and are still improving in the others. Pay attention to what is working. Observe and adjust. I suggest that you set yourself time periods to follow a regime, then evaluate your results and adjust as indicated for a next time period.
Generally in this life, pain is unavoidable, suffering is optional. If you have a sense that the increased detox suffering is accelerating your recoveries in your other problems, then I would say, "Go for it!"

Was it occurring before you increased PLUS? - no this pattern did not occur - I was detoxing and having pain a lot but not having long stretches of good days afterwards. This all occurred once I increased the Plus.
You increased the PLUS from 2 to 4 per day and started having stretches of "good days." I suggest that you stop asking for permission or advice and just try it. Pay attention to results and make your decisions. ie Try 6,...and maybe after a few days, try 8. It is usually more effective to spread the doses out...Say 2 tabs, 4X a day to get the maximum effect. If nothing or something bad is happening, reduce the amounts.
These products are not poisonous drugs, but food in natural forms. No toxicity! The digestive system recognizes it as food and absorbs and utilizes it well. It is possible to get a bad reaction, such as people who should not eat peanuts, but you should have noticed it by now.
The hormone support in this product is dioscorea from Mexican yams, so in effect, it is similar to ask about eating 6 or 8 potatoes a day instead of 4. There may be significant differences or negligible. When one finds that one is spending dollars in product to get a nickel's worth of improvement, most people cut back to a more cost effective level.
If you find that uncertainty makes you fearful, you may want to fall back on your doctor or M/T associate and do what they say, but I assure you that they don't know for certain. No one does. But there are some with better educated guesses against other people's opinions that who don't have a clue. Check out how much education on nutrition that your MDs get in medical school, that any medical schools offer as their curriculum. And yet, to stay out of trouble, we constantly hear, "Ask your doctor before you take that stuff." The doctor will never get into trouble by saying, "Don't take it." especially when he has no clue. If he says, "Do it." and you get sick or die, he might be sued by you or your survivors. What would you expect him to say? (As you might imagine, I have always been rejected by one side or the other for jury duty on medical lawsuits.)
The great majority of people don't have your problems nor responses to PLUS. If you are that exception, you need to observe the results and make changes. If I, your doctor, or someone else tells you to do something and it works better or does not, you are still responsible to decide what is next. You live 24 hours a day with the results.
Good luck with your results!
