I did the juice one for 22 days. I am not sure about the weight lost during water fasting. I still consumed a normal amount of calories daily, so maybe that is why the weight stayed off. I am not sure if the
Water Fast will give you lasting weight loss.
You can use a laxative tea, but I wouldn't recommend it if you havn't used them before. The senna in them caused major cramping for me. It worked, but painfully so. I am not real regular either, but you will likely have one fairly soon after you begin eating. They say fruit is really good for water fasters afterwards, because their blood
Sugar is so low. Eat a few sweet fruits, keep the food you eat fresh, and though not fresh I loved campbells vegetable when I broke mine. I was soooooo cold during fasting.
About the LC forums. Everyone is VERY supportive of LCing and you may get some positive stuff about fasting, but in all likelihood you will get a lot of nay sayers. When I fast I come here, and when I LC I go there. Check out the
Water Fasting forums here, although I found the majority to be a little more about anorexia, then fasting. Some were repeatedly doing this over and over, blow it badly and start over the next day...it didn't sound healthy, but the juice fasting forum here is pretty good. Just don't add protein back until you have a BM. Sounds like everything is going okay for you. Take it slow. They say you should break your fast almost as long as the fast...I didn't I did it for a week (breaking) and then went back to Atkins.
