Hi there!
I'm glad to see some of the terrific advice you have received about nuts, etc. -- but in my experience extreme thin-ness and hunger and
Acne growing worse instead of better with age has indicated my digestive and bowel health was extremely poor: intestinal lining had layers and layers of mucousoid plaque in addition to fungal infections and
parasites which also migrated to other areas (sinuses, throat glands, ears, etc).
My weight wouldn't go above 80-90 for years and years, on five full meals a day, plus snacks, never limited to two-hands-full and I used lots of olive oil, flax oil, raw nuts, ghee and butter which I'd eat chunks of off and on during the day straight off a butter-knife (sorry, but it was the only dairy I could tolerate then and I loved it).
theKat, if you don't mind me asking: Apart from skin woes, are your nails good and strong? Is there any difference in the thickness/texture of your hair? How about tooth decay? earaches? swollen glands? Are you a bleeder? Quality of sleep, night sweats, and the sweat smells 'off' somehow? Are you a bleeder?
I'm sure you don't have all of this stuff and once but these can all be symptoms of malnutrition, just like being hungry all the time, despite being well fed.
I'm 46. I thought I just 'had skin problems' as it seemed the
Acne was always there in varying degrees. I thought I 'just had' fine, thin hair and that my nails simply weren't strong (peeled easily in addition to ridges -- big horiz. ones on thumbs). And the specialist MD's I traipsed to most of my life mostly told me I 'just had' a frail constition (or ibs or cfs -- whatever the newest label was for an assortment of symptoms they'd just try to suppress because they were clueless as to treatment. Their concensus was these conditions would abate eventually but most didn't and new problems kept arising. Two years ago, I had to stop working completely at which point I wrote allopathic medicine off completely -- which I'm not recommending to others but in my case? If I was a car, I would have junked me, who were these doctors kidding?
Although I'd been into alternative meds all along (eg, I thought threelac and oxygen elements 'cured' me for a while) and have lurked in the Curezone for years, it was only when I realized alternative meds were my only alternative that I began getting well and now feel better than I ever have in my life!
(if only I'd gotten over my prejudice against anything
Hulda Clark and embraced Zappers sooner ... using two Silverados at once (a variation on Terminator 2) plus Karin Horn's digestive/
parasite herbs (Clarkia with a lot of other stuff added) really clinched it for me. Also rotating herbs, oxygen therapies etc cause if I don't I get resistant strains.
My advice is, stick with the Curezone, listen carefully to what your body's telling you i.e., if you're hungry it needs something, if the optimal diet is so spartan you can't stick to it, tweak it according to your own sense of where your wellbeing is, the Curezone is full of therapies that cure constipation and most other ills, you'll find one that's right for you.
And don't even think about
Acne or whatever other cosmetic ills you feel you have because they'll go away once you've regained your health. I wasn't even trying to fix my hair and nails but they're thick and healthy and the alligator like wrinkles around my eyes are just gone, no moisturizer who knows how but what a bonus!
modify ! if salt water flushes a natural therapy ) but do only those therapies the acne, low weight, no boobs, whatever other cosmetic ills you believe you have, will vanish once you have regained your health and you'll notice other physical aspects you thought were good enough already look even better!
I had crodile/alligator like wrinkles around my eyes, all gone!!! Hair's great. Plus, my weight's back up to 110-120. Boobs plumped up when I added herbs to ease menopausal symptoms (also you know where the eyebrows start thinning? those grew back!)
Of course, the brain-fog is still there, as anyone can see from the length of this post which gets longer each time I try to cut it but my brain will bounce back eventually and in the meantime more debt and no job is better than landing a position and getting sick with tension again over being unable to perform.
Did I mention my diet? Combo of anti-yeast/fit-for-life/biblical type diet, maybe there are other names, no wheat, rye, etc but fruit's fine taken by itself and so far xylitol's the best sweetener I've found for other times of day, I had problems with Splenda.
Shopping in ethnic food stores has been a great boon. Asian, Indian, Latino, Mediterranean, etc., diet includes tons of really delicious stuff on a regular basis cheaper than regular supermarkets never mind health food stores and it's way fresher than same stuff at either place. Living Yogurts to die for, freshest nuts I've ever had in more varieties than I knew existed, really cheap pasta and crackers made from rice, lentil, bean, potato flours plus the produce rocks and it's cheaper.
Plus Yerba Mate which costs about $5 for a KILO instead of a $8 for a package of tea bags in the health food stores so I can make it by the French Press-full, enjoy it at the same strength as a Paraguayan!
You know, I don't know how to end this, only that I should.
I hope something somewhere in here is useful to somebody and if it's not I am so sorry (either way I'll go back to lurking till I can be concise). I sure don't want to annoy the people who saved my life!
Thanks and prayers to all of you for your miraculous contributions to the Curezone. So many of us have followed so many paths that didn't lead to wellness and here it is in abundant myriad ways, free for the taking.
My endless gratitude. I wish all of you joy in your continued recoveries!
