Help - I'm wasting away!
Hi Shelley,
I wonder if you could suggest some things that I could eat or do which will stop me losing weight/put on some weight, yet still be suitable for a clean diet. Since starting about 6 weeks ago I've lost 21
pounds and now feel very skinny with clothes hanging off me. I still seem to be losing weight.
I'm quite tall and active with usually a very good appetite so the small potions 'as much as you can hold in 2 hands' you recommend really can't sustain me for 4 hours in between meals. I frequently feel hungry during the day but stop myself eating because I know i need to give things time to digest and not overload the digestive system.
What I generally eat:
Breakfast:
a couple of apples and fresh carrot juice, or a bowl of porridge with water and rice milk.
Lunch:
Fish or quinoa with salad and steamed veggies, plus a handful each of sunflower and pumpkin seeds, OR big bowl of soup OR big bowl of kichachi (yum!) OR some kind of casserole/general healthy clean meal
Dinner: as for lunch
I also have 3 tablespoons of olive oil during the day, plus sometimes the 10 soaked almonds you suggest. I'd like to eat more nuts as I love them but i don't know if I should whilst cleansing to rid myself of acne. I also do cheat a couple of times a weeks and have some chocolates or something I shouldn't.
Any suggestions?
PS - I hope your advice involves eating lots of flapjacks and cakes ....(but somehow I think not!!)
