You are selectively relying on partial scientific analysis to backup what you believe and this certainly should not be made the universal rule.
Viewing the body as a chemical exchange of substances is like looking at a shallow layer of an onion. It isn,t erroneous, but certainly may lack a deeper understanding beyond the level of atoms/molecules.
Every single chemical reaction in the body/universe (i said every single chemical reaction) is governed by the law of electromagnetism. For example, sodium chloride dissolves in water. Chemically you,ll see water molecules surrounding the weakly bound NaCl crystals and ripping appart into it,s cation/anion. On a deeper level, this occurs due to polarities of the molecules/ions, which are due to the charge diferences - which are further due to the individual electron clouds/inner nucleus interactions. - All electromagnetic in nature as a "simple" physics lecture will show
Food, being made of various chemicals are used to fuel our battery like systems. I don,t care which angle you want to take but this is universal. You need enzymes to act as catalysts in chemical reactions. You need salt to help in chemical exchange at the cellular level. All these chemical reactions are governed by a deeper layer of electromagnetism.
If someone replaces NaCl for KCl, the body will quickly shutdown electrically, and electron flow will cease to occur. We all know that electricity has a magnetic component by default.
So digging deeper beyond the chemical layer will expose further "universal laws".
Heck, by digging even deeper into a quantum world will further help us understand those little "exceptions to the rule".
Even if you want to stay at the shallow chemical layer (which there is still plenty to understand but it,s easy for our minds to grasp since it,s seemingly unchanging and traceable)) youll find that there are different chemicals release for different emotions. Being happy or sad IS chemically different - I mean would you expect to have a different outcome in the reaction, if the initial reagents were kept the same? Unless youre telling me that our emotions are controlled by the weather (which is an environmental variable and therefore plays a role in the reaction by the way ;))
So we can simply measure electrical/magnetic properties of our bodys as you well know - again this a "physical" angle versus the chemical angle - they both happen, but the physical angle analyzes it at a smaller deeper scale.
Also, as you well know, any thing except ddark matter/ extremely large gravitational fields emit electromagnetic radiation. This DOES require to look at a deeper layer beyond chemical interactions. Some of your senses are built to analyze and interpret EMRs like the ones in the visible range. More sophisticated tools can helps us "see" other frequencies (such as infrared emitions from our bodies).
Our bodies are constantly emiting EMRs nonstop - keyword is NONSTOP. Therefore, anything that is within our proximity will be subjected to our emissions NONSTOP.
If I put my hand in water, the water will be affected by my frequencies nonstop - this is a continuous exposure.
You can already know where im going with this - so if our thoughts are results of electromagnetic variations in our system, and in which emr is produced, and if we,re constantly giving these away than we are impacting our surroundings, at all times, then.... youll figure out the answer.
A positive thought is different from a negative thought (chemically/electromagnetically/quantum), so they will both produce different "results" - it,s up to your mindset to interpret what the outcome may be but whther you believe it can classified as good/bad or not, it still happens no matter what.
This is not so much about having a "positive" or "negative" view of how our universe works or whether we as part of it impact it as a whole, it,s more about connecting the dots that are truly out there that show that there are more pieces to the puzzle which may currently be hard to "see" for a lot of people but still manifest at all times.
