I know that within Christianity there are many variations but generally we all hold dear to the Lord Jesus Christ as our savior with an experience where not so much within a church but within our soul and spirit he saves us from death--at least it was that way for me..
I met lots of other Christians on here. I love them and we try to keep up with each other.
I unfortunately see something happening that I don't feel is of God anymore. I am sad, cause I loved it here. BUT I could be very wrong it may be a new work of God that I don't understand.
But for me I must just let it all go. Maybe I am supposed to share all of this with real people which is happening so fast it is hard enough to handle. So God Bless whatever is going on here. I'll catch you in our next reality.

Dear Doc,
I would say it is more of a 2000 year old work of God as seen in the Gospels and in the book of Acts (incl ch 1: 4, 5, 8) which i realize is completely foreign to so many in today's entirely different expression of Christianity which has become unrecognizable when compared against the original. This new expression which we widely see today looks nothing like the Gospels or the book of Acts and is what i find hard to understand... the attraction to this alternative version from that modeled for us is quite puzzling to me... but this is what the majority seems to be most comfortable with.
If you would like to address me privately and specifically on any issues you have with the walk i am enjoying with my precious Lord Jesus and the expression of this which includes surrendering my life to Him, He as the Vine, me as the branch, sowing richly to the Spirit every day all throughout the day, prayer, fasting, worship, scripture reading, ministering to others, signs and wonders, and the errors you see with any of it, i am happy to have private correspondence with you regarding any and all of your concerns.
If you prefer to air this discussion openly in the forum, this is of course your choice.
I remain ever hopeful that any rift between us can melt away and that we can praise, exalt and worship our Heavenly Father and His precious Son, the Lord Jesus together as sister and brother in His holy kingdom.

I see now. This is an old screen name which had originally been chosen as my name in a strategy game i once played, taking at the time the name of an ancient Chinese General.
I originally didn't want to post in this (Christianity) forum with this screen name, but it didn't seem to bother anybody until now. As i shared very early when i began posting in this forum, my real name is Ed.
I could be wrong, but it seems the screen name was not so much of a problem for you until the Lord Jesus began to fill me more and more with His Holy Spirit after months of prayer, fasting, sowing and daily dying to flesh.
If i had to guess, i would say that you have what you are calling a check in your spirit because the Lord Jesus has given me authority to expel evil spirits in His name as i expect He has done with millions of other surrendered followers in the world today as well as the 12 and the 70 to whom this authority was originally given. I don't believe you are able to get past the idea that this is very real and that it is a very important aspect of overall ministry, now just as it was in the time of my Lord (see all four gospels) and in the early days of the church (see the book of Acts).
Lastly, regarding what you did with the s's in my screen name, i flatly reject your accusation that i am a snake, i break whatever curse was attached to this in Jesus name and rebuke the evil spirit behind this accusation, also in Jesus name.
... you accuse me of this evil when all i want to do all day long, every day, is serve, worship and live in obedience and surrender unto my Heavenly Father, His precious Son the Lord Jesus and their Holy Kingdom. But my Lord did say that people would hate those who follow Him.
If you wish to keep attacking me and the Holy Spirit who lives in me Doc, i suggest that you will at least come out of your flesh to do so. My Lord has commanded me to pray for my enemies and since this is what you have chosen to be, i have done so for you, both deliverance from all evil and holy blessings from my Lord. In His immense love for you, may He answer these prayers.

also I have an old lap top if I held the key down too long and mad a lot of ss's it was most definitely not putting a curse on you for God's sake. Yes definitely there are better nicknames and that one (to restate this for you since you seem to have missed it the first time) was chosen originally several years ago for a strategy game i was playing at the time which i have since renounced as being responsible for creating too much time away from my Lord Jesus.
The nickname i have in youtube now, created several months back, is "Worshipful servant of the Lord Jesus" which does a far better job of describing who i am and what i value the most. Hopefully you have no problem with that one, though at this point, very little would surprise me.

Chavey, I am not directing this post to you, but to all of us.
Just to be fair to Ed, he admits to have chosen that user name when he was not fully committed to the Lord. I have done worse things than that. Instead of stoning him perhaps we could help him by suggesting that he change it and let him know how to do that. He has some great posts that are enjoyed by another forum. I, for one, would hate to see that history lost. I think there is a way to do it and keep the same history, but I do not know how. I'm sure that if Ed was as fully committed to Christ when he first chose that user name as he is now, his user name would be extremely different.
Before Ed became fully committed to Christ I had read many of his posts. He impressed me as someone who really put his all into something that he set his mind on doing. His determination and motivation were a great blessing to me. Something happened to Ed during this last year. I do not know what caused it or what lead to it, but I am thankful for it. He decided to fully commit his life to Christ. Ed, being Ed, put his all into this as well. He sought the Lord with fasting, prayer, Bible study and sowing to the Spirit in every way he knew how. I believe his efforts were sincere. He was serious about a relationship with God that was all that it could possibly be. He was sincere about finding and living God's perfect will for his life. He was sincere about giving up all sin and dying to the flesh to fully put on the Lord Jesus Christ. Months went by before he felt much of anything, if I am observing this right. He admitted in another post that he started with few talents. Then he started seeing the Lord multiply his talents. He started seeing some results. I believe the Lord has a call on his life to be a minister of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe that Ed was trying to obey that call the best he knew how in this forum as well as in other ways. I'm sure he was not perfect, but are any of us? The Lord put people in his path and used him to help them. It makes sense to want to reach out and help the hurting when you feel that the Lord has given you some talents to work with. Ed offered help to any of us that may want it. What in the world is wrong with that?

Great to see you posting again. I was wondering where you were. I better clear up what I said. I did not say that Ed wished to become a minister. I have no idea what his wishes are. I said I believe that the Lord has called him to be a minister of the gospel in some sort of way. In what way I do not know. It may not be to be a pastor as some here may be interpreting that. This comment was clearly from me and not Ed. Perhaps I should not have made the comment as it may bring more confusion and plant wrong ideas about what is really going on.
I believe Ed is already a Christian. I also believe that he is a very on fire for Jesus Christian. Of course, I am not God. Only God can see his heart. That means that none of us here can say with certainty that Ed is not a Christian. As to the post that you are referring us to, well, I have made some questionable posts and said worse than that myself, so I don't think that that post proves that he is not a Christian. He is far from the only one on this forum that has made questionable posts. We are all human. Very few of us, if any, have arrived at perfection.

I definitely do NOT think that you are satanic and evil. I think that when we disagree, that sometimes the things that we say to each other in the heat of the argument are things that just come out of our emotions and would have been better not said. At least that's the way it is with me. Then after I have had time to think about it, I regret what I said and realize that I may have been wrong. Sometimes I find that I just did not understand the other person and that I jumped to the wrong conclusion.

I am drawn to this because the Lord has also called me to do this, but I have miserably failed the Lord in this area. He, I see is succeeding. :) I love him as a brother in the Lord, the same as I love you as a sister in the Lord. I am very curious as to where the two of us retreat to ;) This, I hate to disappoint you, is a blatant lie. We have never met in person. We have had some personal communication, but then I have had personal communication with many others on this forum as well. :) I wouldn't mind some personal communication from you right now to let me know the details of what you have learned. I am so curious. ;) Who are the others that you have spoken to? And where do we retreat? ;) I do understand that he is single. Maybe because I am also single, minds ran wild and out of the reality zone. ;) It actually would be nice for me, but not for him. ;) The truth is that I am too old for him. ;) At any rate, I'm pretty sure he is not a predator and we do live far away from each other. Thanks anyway for the warning.;)
