I'm glad to read of your continued progress.
May I ask how you prepare your potatoes/rice?
I typically roughly chop my potatoes/sweet potatoes into smaller pieces, cook them in a steamer or pressure cooker, then typically drizzle over olive oil or a knob of butter/ghee. However, your recent posts suggest that you are not adding any fat.
I tried this yesterday (just salt and pepper) and they were a little on the bland side.
Note that I do not believe I have candida (no rashes) etc. however, I know that my stomach is very weak, and struggles with digestion, resulting in poor absorption. I am fortunate in that I can eat more or less any foods, however it takes a while to digest (e.g. a feeling of 'heaviness' even a couple of hours after eating, or a sensation that I need to burp/belch, yet no gas seems to come out).
