Orthosilicic acid is produced by the reaction of water on the silica. Especially in the presence of acids. Being that the chemical analysis of DE includes about 10% moisture this also means that all DE will contain some orthosilicic acid naturally. So I would go with the Earthworks.

All zeolites are aluminum silicates. So there really is little difference. When I need zeolites for experiments I just go to the aquarium store and get a box of ammonia remover, which are natural zeolites. They are about $6 a pound.
In terms of healing the gut, u have two extremes:
The GAPS/SCD diets which are very heavy in fats and animal proteins, very low in fiber, veggies, and fruits. The thought is that dissacharides cause gut issues and that fats (up to 80% of the diet) and meat heal the gut. (sorry, but all my research shows that high meat/fat consumption leads to gastroparesis, heart issues, cholesterol issues, colon cancer, etc)

The success rate is extremely high. The theory here is that the fungus/GI issues were not caused by fruit sugar, it was caused by cooked starchy and fatty foods which decompose and breed the fungus/mold/candida. This diet helps to clean out the pathogens and restore gut functioning and health.
How does someone know what to do? I'm tired of taking craploads of supplements and I want to focus on healthy eating and natural healing!
It is like I have been saying all along, all of these strict diets have their drawbacks. And as we can see they contradict each other. If people want to be healthy they should be avoid all strict diets and stick to a simple balanced diet. Otherwise they are just going to end up with more health issues in the long run as they create other imbalances. For example, we all know that blueberries are healthy. So should we form a diet that consists of nothing but blueberries? Of course not, that would be stupid. We need a balanced diet to allow our body to get nutrients missing from one source from another source. And we need foods that reduce inflammation to counter the foods that cause inflammation, etc, etc, etc.
Another way to look at it is ever hear the term dosage makes the poison? Point is that anything can be harmful in excess. If you go on an all protein diet you risk increased inflammation and the diseases that go along with it as well as risking the health of your kidneys and liver. Go on an all carbohydrate diet and you may increase your weight, Candida growth (depending on the carbohydrate), increase the risk of diabetes (again depending on the carbohydrate), etc. Go on a high fat diet and you can increase your caloric intake tremendously as well as increase your intake of heavy metals and increasing inflammation depending on the source of fats. Small, balanced amounts of good proteins, carbohydrates and fats though help the body to get what it needs without creating imbalances in the body or overloading the body with toxins or increasing inflammation. Call it the Hveragerthi Diet if you wish.
I understand your points, but Dr Grahams/Klein's theory is vastly different from the "standard" theories on candida...and their success rate is much higher than the anti-candida diet.
How do we know he has had such success? Because he claims to have had these successes? Personally I seriously doubt his claims of success based on his lack of knowledge on basic physiology as I pointed out in this post:

OK, where is the true B12 in a plant based diet?
Add in some nuts, seeds, avocados, coconuts and it's very healthy. Low fat is the way to go---not high fat like these other diets promote.

The dangers of these extreme diets often do not show up for many years. But if you still want to believe in these diets and go that way then go for it. I have already told you my feelings about these extreme diets several times and gave my warnings. You seem to want to argue the same debunked points over and over and I don't have time to address the same points over and over.

The second link is full of misinformation and misrepresentations of the facts. Too many to cover so I will just cover a few of the highlights:

What about true B12, which cannot e derived from fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds? This is why strict vegetarians tend to get sick after 2-6 years when they use up their liver reserves of B12.
"Most people on the standard American diet experience transit times of 72 hours or more, during which time their food ferments and putrefies. The resulting foul gas and unpleasant smelling feces highlight the fact tat fermentation and putrefaction are taking place in the colon."
Fermentation happens regardless. The intestinal flora ferment fibers (long chain sugar molecules) to break them down in to simple sugars they can feed on.
"Applying heat to foods provides no nutritional benefit to the food and is detrimental to the person ingesting the cooked food. There are reported instances where, by heating food, certain nutrients are more easily released, like lycopene from tomatoes."
Cooking also serves other purposes such as making the food easier to digest and reducing or eliminating potentially dangerous compounds such as goitrogens and enzyme inhibitors. Over cooking food though can lead to significant nutrient loss and production of other harmful substances.
"Eating cooked meat creates excess uric acid and ammonia in the body, both of which are toxic to the system. The proteins in cooked food become denatured, and, as a result, the polypeptide bonds cannot be broken down into amino acids."
Great example of misinformation and contradictions. Uric acid is formed from purines and amino acids found in plants as well as animal proteins. If the polypeptides are being excreted intact then how are they being broken down to form uric acid? Again a contradiction in his claims.
The cell wall of the kidneys doesn't allow for easy transport of these substances, causing the distress that leads to kidney stones and eventually to kidney failure.
First of all there are many different forms of kidney stones with different causes. Secondly, the same question of how is uric acid being raised if these polypeptides are not being broken down. And finally all I have to say is that he does not understand the concept or causes of kidney failure.

The acidity caused by excess protein consumption must be counterbalanced by the body. Acidosis is very rare since the body has so many means of pH regulation. Respiration is the primary means. The body would have to go EXTREMELY acidic to get to the point where dietary acids could affect the bone. Although bone is constantly being broken down and rebuilt to keep it healthy. And the breakdown process does involve acids generated by bone cells.
Also keep in mind that fruit sugars and other carbohydrates also lead to the production of acid. As they are broken down they form carbon dioxide and water, thus carbonic acid. And fructose (fruit sugar) increases uric acid levels, which he is claiming is a toxin.
"However, because cooked grains create a condition known as acid toxemia, these same people will instead, suffer from a higher risk of arthritis and cancer."
What he is referring to as "acid toxemia" is acidosis, which I addressed above. It is extremely rare. Secondly, there are over 120 forms of arthritis, and acidosis does not cause these. Nor does acidosis cause cancer. This is just another common acid-alkaline myth.

Excess fat is the culprit in candida, not sugar, per se. When fat levels in the blood rise, so does blood sugar, because excess fat inhibits insulin from performing its function of escorting sugar out of the bloodstream. In addition, the author completely overlooks the fact that not all dietary sugar is absorbed. Some of it remains in the intestines where it can directly feed Candida.

Not one bit of this is even close to the truth!!! Candida is rarely ever present in the blood, and is extremely dangerous when it is.

Spices are not toxins, and in fact are quite beneficial being not only antiseptic and antioxidant, but often also anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, etc.

Plants do not contain actual B12, all they contain are B12 analogues.

LOL!!! First of all people are not going to eat most foods frozen. And even when they do the foods are not going to be frozen by the time they hit the stomach let alone the intestines where the flora (bacteria) reside.
In addition, freezing cracks the cell walls of plants increasing the availability of their nutrients.

More utter nonsense. In fact, the same bacteria that produce the B12 also produce acetic acid as one of the several healthy acids that help control pathogens and help with nutrient absorption. There is more that can be addressed, but as we can see already the whole premise of the diet is based on false and misleading information.

This link is merely saying the same exact things as the other link you already posted and that was debunked in my last post on the subject.
Sounds like the natural, healthy way to eat. Fruits, veggies, and a small amount of nuts/seeds is the simpliest, healthiest way to eat.
If that is what you want to do then go for it. But again keep in mind that this will not provide B12 and you still have to deal with things such as the goitrogens and enzyme inhibitors of raw foods.
