Sara,
I guess I'm confused. Could you please set me straight?
From what I'm hearing, it is OK for you to criticize and attack me, but I'm not allowed to reciprocate? Is this correct? Who are you to judge if I should be on this forum or not? You're very hateful and I find people such as yourself the most dangerous of all, desiring to silence those who don't agree with you.
You made some ridiculous and unfounded statements regarding fasting and I called you on the carpet for them. Because you are unable to support your position scientifically, you in turn decide to attack my approach? I am not confused by this tactic, as are those simple people you keep close to you. And then you have the nerve to think that I should be censored or banned? Sara, you're the nasty one. I know looking in the mirror from time to time may be difficult, but it is necessary for growth.
I don't think that just because you post an article from google you have supported your position. The article was not written by a scientist and there was no autopsy cited.
Water Fasting did not kill this lady. There was more to this story than the one poorly-written paragraph that you linked.
I will say it again,
Water Fasting does NOT kill people.
Now if you wanted to say that "improper"
Water Fasting can kill, then I wouldn't argue with that. We could argue about what "improper" means, but the statement itself could possibly be true.
You are correct that this is a support forum. But please be aware that you are not the person who defines support. We don't have to cater to your idea of support.
My idea of support is speaking the truth, not making ridiculous and unfounded statements, not posting unscientific google articles, not instilling false fear about water fasting (fear is very dangerous when fasting, you could be responsible for somebody's death), not threatening to censor or ban somebody because they don't tell you what you want to hear.
I would like to bring this discussion back to the relevant topic that YOU started: can water fasting kill or not?
If you believe it can, support it scientifically. Show us something with some substance that supports your position or else retract your inflammatory statement.
Dr Hazzard reported fasting close to 40,000 patients. She claimed in her book that 11 died. All were autopsied and it was reported that they all had bizarre internal damage or other conditions that fasting could not have corrected and fasting DID NOT CAUSE.
So those 11 people died during a fast. Did the fast kill them? No. She SCIENTIFICALLY showed that it was something else.
Dr
Shelton fasted 65,000 or so patients. How many of these died during the fast? Any? If so, why? Was it the fast or other extenuating circumstances?
The only fasting death I remember reading of in the news recently which was posted on the WF forum was a young lady who was diabetic. She did not follow her fasting doctor's advice with respect to her insulin. She died as a result. You could say that water fasting killed her, but is it a
Water Fast if she is taking insulin as well? I say no.
these are only some of the questions you should be asking yourself before you make such rash statements.
I hope that you can see that we all have different ideas of support. Support is not all hugs and flowers. Sometimes support is a dose of tough-love. I am a scientist by profession, and it sickens me that to some people our demeanor is more important than fact. I truly believe that had I come on this forum with some false information, but did it in a manner that you approved of, you would not have called for my banishment.
I'm sorry and ask your forgiveness if I am not "nice". But I take fasting extremely seriously, as it has the potential to help all of humanity like no form of medicine ever could. Because of that, I will be a harsh defender of truth.
Oh, and just as an aside, banning somebody doesn't necessarily do much. They can just register as another user name and come right back.
If you really want to shut me up, then simply support your statement that water fasting kills scientifically or retract it. Then we can be friends again;-) XOXO hugs and kisses.
