I'll be starting a heavy juice routine Wednesday (our organic market gets produce deliveries on Tues & Friday). I haven't quite decided if it's gonna be a true juice fast or not...because I might cut the juice quantity in half and throw in a piece of Hunza bread & an apple to jump start a bit of extra weight loss (and NO! if "fasting for healing" that's NOT okay!). I'll likely be goin' for 30 days...IF#2, Kefir water, daily CEs (always anyway), 3 ACV bombs daily (maybe add a bit of
parasite maintenance), sweat 3x daily, hot/cold showers (oh boy - our well-water is so cold it actually hurts your teeth, lol), Kelp combination and Female Formula...castor oil packs on liver (and castor oil socks on hands & feet), a
kidney cleanse and at least one
Liver Flush (maybe two). Rocky'll be joining me/us at whatever level he chooses.
For me, it's a LONG overdue 'full maintenance cleanse' and "knock off a few years & pounds" kinda month, and I'm seriously looking forward to it!
Anne, don't expect too much from a 5 day juice fast (as in completely knock out sinus issues) - I don't want you to have unrealistic expectations and then be disappointed!
Everybody remember - sometimes it takes 5-7 days just for our bodies to adjust to 'no food' and a different form of 'energy processing'. Once you've done a few longer fasts, you & your body know what to expect and you'll "pop into the good stuff" faster. You'll have a LOT of benefits from 5 days, but you *might* not feel them.
For those of you who haven't ever fasted (or have tried and not made it to the 5 day mark) - this is a FANTASTIC start!!! And we veterans care about you very much and we ARE going to hold you accountable...so it'd be GREAT to see daily reports on the amount of juice ingested. For those that don't know: Bundles & Teresa are "newbies".
Calling all veterans - you know how tough the first 5 days can be the first time around - let's make sure to help out the newbies all we can! You know, right?...TRULY loving support. If we REALLY love these gals, we'll 'do & say what it takes' to help them help themselves to be VICTORIOUS! You know right? :::wink wink::: PEER PRESSURE! (but with support) :)
Here's my "support thinking" (and why I think I've never "failed"): JUICE FASTING IS A DECISION LIKE ANY OTHER DECISION.
***DECIDE*** TO SUBSTITUTE JUICE FOR SOLID FOOD ***NOW***!!!
END. OF. STORY.
THEN THERE WILL NOTHING LEFT TO DECIDE - EATING IS ***NOT*** AN OPTION FOR HOWEVER LONG YOU DECIDE!!!
STRUGGLE WITH IT NOW AND GET IT OVER WITH! When you make decisions in any other area of your life, you don't give yourself an option to fail: you decide to go to work, and you go to work; you decide to take a bath and you take a bath; you decide not to break the speed limit & risk getting a ticket, so you don't speed; you decide to not let your pets starve, so you don't.
****BOTTOM LINE TRUTH*** IF YOU EAT AFTER YOU'VE DECIDED TO JUICE FAST, YOU HAVE INTENTIONALLY DECIDED TO FAIL. IT ***IS*** INTENTIONAL FAILURE. (unless of course, it's going to cause you die not to eat).
YOU CAN CHOOSE TO WIN OR YOU CAN CHOOSE TO LOSE. I can assure you (as can ANY successful faster), if you make the decision to win BEFORE you start, your fast will be MUCH more enjoyable and MUCH MORE PRODUCTIVE.
Anne, you need to be doing those
Liver Flushes consistently - every two weeks is a BARE minimum for you. You need to schedule them in and make them just as important as
Oil pulling rocks - if anybody doesn't 'understand it', hop on over to the oil pulling forum and git yerself edjukatid :)
Teresa - Great job on the liver flush! Yep, you've got to ensure 3 bms a day however you've gotta do it - herbal tea (or prune juice if you don't have 'sugar reactions')...whatever works for you. You've likely got WAY too much die-off going on to not have adequate "flow".
Garlic ??? Knowing that your candida issues are likely fairly extreme, it would be expected that you'd have 'garlic reactions' from the die-off. I know that I'd tell someone that was sure they were going to be consistent and doing what they need to do, to "push through it" (and get that IF#2/IF#1 in there to suck up the toxins and keep things flowing and moving OUT!) But since you/your life is so sporadic & changeable right now, you'll just have to make that decision for yourself.
Bundles, if the tests didn't reveal "anything" wrong with your heart, blood
Sugar or bp, then we can likely confirm what we thought. Everything you're experiencing has been experienced by thousands of others on the same drug you're taking. And the caffeine withdrawal has altered your 'normal' state. Press on, woman...you're doing and learning GREAT STUFF!
GO TEAM JUICE FAST BUDDY WINNERS!!! (JFBWs!)
