>- Ephedra was extremely effective at helping people lose weight and gaining jittery energy yet they went after it.
This supports my case. It was the most effective alternative to compete with pharmaceuticals. There is no any evidence that ephedra is hazardous in recommended dosages.
The banning of L-tryptophan was along the same lines. L-tryptophan was banned because it competed with Prozac. L-tryptophan has been proven not to be dangerous but the ban has not been lifted. This is the same basic substance that is present in turkeys and makes you sleepy after eating turkey.
>- Also, how can you zap a live
parasite and kill it without doing harm to healthy tissues surrounding it?
Very easily. Most microbic organisms have a cell wall that is at least partially rigid and can therefore be ruptured by vibrations. Humans do not have cell walls but instead have a flexible cell membrane which responds like rubber, unaffected by the vibrations. Have you ever seen the commercials of Ella Fitzgerald breaking crystal wine glasses? Regular glass would not break because it is amorphous. Rubber would not break, it just sits there and quivers. Zappers do work and 98 percent of my customers who used them say that the FDA should approve them.
>- I work in a clinical lab and we test for Giardia, Cryptosporidium, stool cultures and samples, pinworms and other
parasites daily 6 days a week.
In 1970, I came down with a severe
parasite infestation when I lived on a remote tropical island. In my first stool sample were several
Tapeworm proglottids up to a half
inch across, eggs and live examples of at least 2 other worms, and most likely giardia as I had a recent bout. The test came back negative. The second stool sample was even worse but it too came back negative. My third sample, I took in to the doctor at the county health department and had him examine it. After reviewing it, he sent it in to the lab along with a blasting letter. It came back with one of 3 known
parasites identified.
Most, say about 85% of the stool samples we get test negative for parasites. How can one dispute those statistics?
Easily! The very best labs only find about 70 percent of major
parasites in two tests. Most other labs are nowhere near that effective. It took weeks to identify one major cryptosporidium outbreak here in the US.
>- "Vitamin C helps rhinoviruses." That is common sense so why charge someone money to tell them that?
Because many people do not know that and many others have been told that it is not true. Additionally, the same people would have called the book incomplete if he left it out. He certainly tells a lot more if one bothers to look.
I do not entirely agree with all that Kevin presents in his book, but I will state one thing. He has done more to make the American public aware of their health issues than any other author.
>- Also, parasites are not necessarily big business for pharmacies.
I think that you are seriously wrong about this. Parasites weaken the immune system and cause a lot of secondary illness.
People who have parasites get more colds, get more influenza, get more cancer, have more malnutrition, have lower iron and other nutrients in their blood, have more coronary problems, have more mental disorders than those who do not have parasites. This is widely statistically proven and supported in statements from th NIH and the WHO.
>- Yet I don't believe enough scientific studies have been done for the AMA to accept that hypothesis.
Is this the same AMA that threatened doctors with revocation of their licenses in the mid 1800's for washing their hands between surgeries?
Isn't it true that the charter purpose of the AMA is to protect the income and status of their members?
>- Just maybe they were forced to go after her because there are too many complaints.
Are you aware that I made an official FOI request from the FDA 4 years ago and their response was that they did not have any information to support that? I have made more than one FOI request from both the FDA and the FTC regards the zapper and neither has come up with any significant complaints. The only problem that I found was one case of an individual with an older style pacemaker that went crazy when the wearer used a zapper.
During the period that I sold zappers for use on humans, I dilligently collected information on all associated problems. They were few and minor.
>- Just like the IRS. They usually go after people who don't pay taxes.
Again, you are misled. Many people do not pay all of their taxes. They usually go after the big bucks and big names like Willie Nelson. They also go after people that are named by other agencies such as the FDA.
>- Someone cried wolf.
Yes, the pharmaceutical companies or their supporters such as quackwatch. Some of these same people spend time trolling these forums.
I think that anything beyond this should be relegated to a debate forum rather than support.
