Geez, let me have some first . . .
He followed me to my favorite chair and begged while I was drinking it. He goes crazy over kefir.
Date: 8/9/2007 6:37:47 AM ( 17 y ) ... viewed 2210 times My dog LOVES Kefir. When I started drinking it, after I was done I would scrape out what was hanging on the side of the glass or bottom for him. Of course, I did this everytime. Its been at least two months since I bought kefir.
Yesterday, was my cheat day. I started the morning with my hormonal balance drink. I find kefir gets things moving after an evening of forbidden foods (I'm not going to fast today. I will do a 48hour (well more like 60hr) fast on Friday and Saturday.) Well, he knows what kefir looks and smells like. He followed me to my favorite chair and begged while I was drinking it. He goes crazy over kefir. I'm going to begin cutting back on his dry food. This weekend, I will make some meatballs using ground meat, brazil nut pulp left over from make my nutmilk, and some veggie mush.
I officially run out of kefir this week. I will give him some nutmilk drink when I'm done. He ate a brazil nut for the first time last week. He never had any interest in them before. He loves almonds, pecans and cashews. I put one out for a squirrel, well he went outside and ate it. Maybe he needs some selenium. Who knows?
