Moving The Body.....
Date: 7/8/2007 1:22:59 PM ( 17 y ) ... viewed 2106 times I, for the first time since my knee surgery, did my 6 mile walk this morning. Wow, it reminded me that starting anything is tough. My feet hurt, probably from the extra weight. I time these walks too, and it was a very slow time, over 2 hours.
Looking at the next 21 days (and this being day one of the 21) I'd like to do that walk 16 times. That would mean I get 5 "byes". That is only one a week plus 2 extra. If I can eat very light this week and juice fast the next two, along with the walking, I think I can reach my goal of being below 263. We'll see. The main goal right now is to get to 278 by next Sunday morning.
It is a mind game at this point. I need to keep my calories low and raw and organic this week. Getting to 278 should be pretty easy if I don't "lose my edge". The hardest part is keeping today's goals, the weeks goals, the months goals, the semesters goals and my life goals all in focus, every day. They are intertwined, but I think you can get too, caught up is short or long term goals.
I'd like to add some lifting and ab work. And my new obsesion, hands and wrists. More on that later. Also, another time I'd like to mention why I am stubbornly interested in this working.
