Surgery - A gift from God
And more importantly, my doctor.

I had been dealing with knee pain for about a year. While my MRI showed a torn meniscus, that was incorrect, it was plica syndrome. To make a long story short, removing an inflamed plica, the doctor said, is like taking a splinter out of your foot. I was better almost right away. I'm four weeks out and I feel great. Time to start over with the fasting.
I gained a little weight while I was down with the knee, so I'm starting this at an all time high of 285. The program I'm going to do here is a 6 week program, starting tomorrow, June 17 and ending July 28. I believe that I can get down to 250 in that time.
Week One - Only Fruit, Veggies, Whole Grain (Oatmeal, Brown Rice, Bran Cereal), Eggs, Nuts.
Week Two - Raw Fruits, Veggies, Nuts
Week Three - Juice Fast, Days 1 - 7
Week Four - Juice Fast, Days 8 - 14
Week Five - Raw Fruits, Veggies, Nuts
Week Six - Only Fruit, Veggies, Whole Grain (Oatmeal, Brown Rice, Bran Cereal), Eggs, Nuts.
I also plan on doing low impact cardio (walking, exercise bike) and some light weightlifting and ab work. I also want to start a stretching program. During these six weeks everything I start, I will start slowly. The diet changes are primary.
Start Weight: 285
Today's Weight: 285
Total Lost: 0
NOTE - Weight loss is only a part of the experience, but it is an important part. I need to lose weight. But that doesn't mean that I didn't love all of the other benefits of my last fast. At the end of this six weeks, I'd like to be totally "reset" with my diet and with my digestive system.
Plans are made to be broken, but If this 14 day fast is successful, I'd like to do a 21 day fast starting February 10th.
