Day 17 of the Juice Fast
Blowing my nose and getting good bed.

I was blowing my nose for about 4 hours straight on day 17. My poor little nose wasn't feeling so good. After that stretch though it seemed I got most of the phlem out (seemed being the appropriate word). I had my Masters class (new one started this week--Special Survey & Populations) and got bombarded with a ton of work for the next 4 weeks. This seemed to bring the phlem back to the forefront and I was sneezing and blowing my nose the whole class.
Other than that day 17 was pretty run of the mill. Had my two juices and that was it (I've decided on Mondays to do one for breakfast, one for lunch and just have water for the rest of the day). I made the same recipe that I've been using Carrot, Beet, Apple, Parsley & Ginger. I still havn't gotten sick of the taste and I've been making (just about) the same juice now for 22 days straight!!! I'm one of those people that can have the same thing over and over again (If I really like it) and not get sick of it.
Oh, almost forgot. I got a massage. Not by an MT but by a Migun Bed. Has anyone ever heard of these??? I was at the gym working out on the treadmill and after I was done I thought it might be a good idea to get some body work done. I asked one of the trainers about getting a same day appointment for a massage and he gave me a free pass to this Migun Massage Therapy place. It is this bed massager (like the ones you sit on at Sharper Image--or Brookstone) that you lay on. Its supposed to work on your meridians and open chakras and what-not (I've taken Shiatsu before but I didn't ever really "get" it). I felt good and relaxed after the session (except for my tailbone which was in serious pain) and it was free so I was OK with it. I think I'd still really like to get a good hands on massage, though.
Well, thats about it. My weight has stayed the same at 209 for a few days.
Till Tommorrow,
Bearded One
