Conflict within myself is often caused by dueling voices.

During this cleanse, as well as past cleanses, I have discovered that there are numerous voices that often compete for my attention. It can be difficult to decide which one to listen to, particularly when their messages are all quite different, sometimes conflicting, and even alluring. For example, one cookie won't hurt, or go ahead and lick that spoon, and even why do this at all, just go ahead and order a pizza. One voice, however, is the speaker of truth. Among all my inner voices, my true inner voice is the one which encourages me, gives me hope, and pushes me to trust and believe in myself and the reasons for cleansing. Conflict within myself is often caused by dueling voices. I know I'm not alone in this situation. Others have mentioned about the conflict they experience, especially during the initial phase of a cleanse. Some of our voices, such as the naysayer or saboteur, can speak so loudly that they drown out the voice of truth and reason. Listening to your true inner voice - often the voice of understanding, support, and self-assurance - can help lessen and even resolve internal conflict.
The more I listen to and believe in what my true inner voice is telling me about my value and my potential, the stronger that voice becomes for me. And the more I disregard the voices that can interfere with my resolve to succeed, the quieter those voices become. By finding and strengthening my true inner voice, I am able to ignore internal conflict and pick out the one that speaks the truth. Ultimately, it bolsters my spirits and urges me to go after my dreams, and it never causes confusion, remind me of past mistakes, or cause me to doubt myself.
Peace and happiness
