Starting Liver/Gallbladder flush a day early!
Excitement mounts as the start date approaches
Date: 6/24/2006 5:15:36 PM ( 17 y ) ... viewed 1665 times Each time I have done the Master Cleanse in the past, my husband has acted like I'm a total weirdo. Last night, I told him I was looking forward to losing weight before our anniversary (July 28th is our 5 year anny) and he's suddenly questioning why I haven't started the cleanse yet. While this may seem like an aweful thing, I'm all excited because I can start my liver flush tomorrow (4 days of only apple juice and water) followed by the MC.
I also realized I'm going to Spokane next weekend to see my hubbies family. I'll probably get a bunch of guff from the in-laws but I could care less. I'm doing something good for me and that's all that matters.
I feel a little guilty focusing on the weight loss part. It seems a bit manipulative since that part of the cleanse doesn't matter much to me. I do have a lot of weight to lose but I would rather see this as a way to jump start healthier eating as it has in the past. Overall it is nice to see him being supportive, whatever the reasons.
Yesterday I bought two watermelons (to be nice to my kidneys). I'm going to try to eat little else until I start my flush tomorrow. I'm so excited. I don't remember ever being so excited before my previous cleanses. I was always more worried that I wouldn't do well or wanting to eat junk one last time.
