Date: 6/22/2006 11:20:06 AM ( 17 y ) ... viewed 1749 times I have decided to do the "Cleansing or Surgery" liver flush before I start my Master Cleanse. I've tried the more popular Dr. Clark's flush but just can't keep the epson salt down and struggle to sleep on my back. I'm hoping this less difficult version will still be effective (even let's me sleep on my favored right side).
This will postpone my Master Cleanse start date to next Friday. Hopefully this will make the beginning easier though because you only consume apple juice and water for four days during the flush. My bowels will be empty when I start the MC. Maybe if I feel up to it, I'll start MCing on Thursday afternoon while I'm still passing gallstones.
I'm planning on adjusting the liver flush slightly by using grapefruit juice instead of lemon juice with the olive oil so i can mix them. I'll also continue to oil swish (oil pull or whatever you want to call it).
I started oil swishing yesterday morning and I'm struggling but determined. I keep gagging on the oil and spitting it out early. Perhaps it will get easier if whatever is coming out of my sinuses (that's what is making me gag) decreases.
Each time I cleanse or flush or whatever, I'm amazed by how much gunk I have in my body. If I'm lucky all this will ease my allergies and energize my mind. Even this planning stage is good for me. I've focused on my goals and encircled myself with positive thoughts.
I already feel better for the experience and haven't done much physically yet (switched to eating mostly fruits, veggies, tons of water and detox teas). Perhaps I'll eat a whole watermelon this weekend to clean out my kidneys too. That sounds like a fun and a tasty way to cleanse oneself. :)~
