What a difference ......
.....a week makes!!
Date: 10/1/2006 2:22:55 PM ( 18 y ) ... viewed 1911 times I was reviewing last Sunday's blog letter, and boy this has been a great week. Nice to know that as stuff gets talked about and recognized God is good and can heal. It's been a day of freedom, a day of rejoicing, a day of sharing.
I shared with my sunday school class today that I once (in recent memory) had a hair color accident and turned my hair hot punk rocker pink.....they giggled, laughed, and it makes the ties that bind. Helps that it's true.
I'm watching my oldest get involved in life. He's forgetting the you can have Jesus and a life. That there's a mix involved that works, that one IS the other, that you don't have to choose, you just live rightly. We're treading that water together as I try to teach him without belittling, without being 'right' all the time, by being human also. He likes a girl and she likes him--good news, and bad news!! At 16 this is dangerous stuff:-)
Skipping yoga tonight, it's starting to hit the muscles and they hurt. I still need to set up for tomorrows daycare day. Food, cribs, fun stuff out....what makes the day good for a 2 year old.
Not very interesting today, but at least there isn't the big lows and highs that have been happening. Very even keel today, and I'll take that!
