Day 5 Feeling ALIVE!

This could be the healthiest I have ever felt in one day. I woke up early today to make breakfast and juice for lunch and mid-morning. Had a delicious citrus juice to start the day and have felt INCREDIBLE ever since. Plus, I put on a pair of pants that are usually tight on me and they were actually a little loose. When I started the fast losing weight was really a secondary goal, with cleansing and overall health really the priority. Now I feel as though the weight loss is something that will really help me stay focused to keep this fast going as long as I can. Tonight's dinner was surprisingly good--Kale, Cabbage, Cucumber, Carrot and Garlic. The cabbage and cucumber really help to sweeten the meal.
The one difficulty I am having is I seem to be having strange cravings. I am an almost full-time vegetarian, occasionally eating fish and even less occasionally eating other meat (maybe twice a year). Since I started the fast I have found that I am really craving fish a great deal. I keep telling myself that when the fast is over, a nice piece of Halibut will be my reward!
Well, I am looking forward to Day 6 and then the 1st "milestone" day, day 7 (one week was the minimum). I am going to an event tomorrow night with a catered dinner, so I will have to bring my juice dinner with me and drink lots of water and tea while I am there. My first true "challenge".
