Paradigm of harmony between nature and technology

What if -- in a previous world we achieved oneness with nature? Call it the mythical Garden of Eden. Mankind lived in harmony with the earth mother and all things and creatures great and small. We reached the pinnacle of our world. We learned our lessons. And then, it was time to evolve …
Enter the advent of technology. Technology, simply put, is the use of tools. The tools may be simple – a hammer, a spoon or ladle. The tools can be more complex: a wheel, a cart or wagon, a pulley. And so on …. Consider the proverbial Garden of Eden – where mankind learned that he could be like God – s/he could create, design, manipulate. Perhaps at first the technology was nothing but useful. But as the technology became more complex and extremely advanced – and with the advent of such things as genetic or atomic manipulation – mankind manipulated himself right out of the Garden of Eden.
Consider that perhaps many souls found themselves trapped in this new world of technology. The feeling that came with the power to create, design, manipulate became too difficult to rise above. The reaction to being created, designed, manipulated engendered fear, insecurity, and anger. The wheel became a merry-go-round that never stopped turning for those souls lost within the paradigm in which they found themselves.
This world became ever more polarized, and the most fearful and insecure and angry amongst the population became ever more entranced by technology. They used the technology to create power, demand power, and secure power. Mankind suffered. Earth suffered. But the wheel did not stop turning. Even when the wheel came to the end of its cycle – the world simply turned over and began its madness again. For it is the world of technology. Its lessons must be learned.
And, what of those who learn the lessons and are able to escape/evolve beyond the world of technology? As a believer in the creation of many worlds within worlds, and that therefore there are endless possibilities available to each and every one of us – I believe also that many souls travel together and thus many souls will travel on to a similar world paradigm.
I believe that a possible next world open to many of us is the blending of the preceding two worlds. In the world to come, mankind learns to blend nature and technology. In this world technology and nature support and complement one another. Nature, the world that God created, retains its superior place but technology, created by the gods, finds its sweet spot :-) and mankind flourishes in freedom, peace, and happiness.
For this reason, I find so many of the blogs here so fascinating and important. I cannot help but believe that many of you will be bringing all of your wisdom to this, in truth, brave new world – this new heaven and new earth! When I think on these things I feel like a child anticipating Christmas ;-) Thank you to all of you who inspire me each day and bring your light to so many others!
