The feeling is the prayer
"There are heroes in the seaweed, there are childen in the morning -- they are leaning out for love and they will lean that way forever while Suzanne holds the mirror ..." Suzanne by Leonard Cohen

This energy is within us and surrounds us. He further explains that "quantum physicists tell us that it's the quality of feeling that sets up the quantum process that allows the feeling in our bodies to affect the physical matter beyond our bodies." But, as he puts it "we dont have to know that -- all we have to do is feel the feeling."
"The feeling is the prayer." -- Tibetan abbot.
"... When we find ourselves in situations in our jobs, in our office place -- we find ourselves surrounded by negative people, for example, -- or at the family dinner table where we seem to bicker with those we love and hold most dear -- when we find ourselves going thru patterns of abundance and lack, abundance and lack ... all of these from the perspective of the way this field works -- these are mirrors of thoughts, feelings, beliefs, emotions, perceptions, that we harbour inside of our bodies as an energetic form that is being mirrored, being reflected back to us in the world around us."
In my experience if we can manage not to engage in these negative episodes -- they will fall flat and eventually fade away. Regardless of whether the relflection in the mirror that one experiences is a reflection of oneself or one's world ... the key to handling it is not to engage with it -- dont return hatred and jealousy with the like but with love and understanding or at least a calm and gentle demeanor (that is sincere and not simply masking a smug interior).
"What is key in all of these traditions is how we feel about our lives and about what's happened to us in our lives ... because that feeling we know is a language that's speaking to this field that's mirroring back to us all of the love, compassion, understanding, forgiveness OR all of the hate, and the rage, and the jealously, and the darkness that you could ever imagine. And, its doing it as individuals in our families and its doing it collectively as nations. It's only a matter of scale. So to the degree that we can understand our past -- not to change the past but change what the past means to us -- to that degree we have the ability to change what's happening in our lives today." --Gregg Braden

"A series of groundbreaking experiments in the last decade of the Twentieth Century unveil dramatic and undeniable evidence of a previously unrecognized form of energy, a Divine Matrix, that appears to link each member of our global family, creation, and the events of our lives in unexpected and empowering ways."
" During the Israeli-Lebanese war of the early 1980s, researchers trained a group of people to "feel" peace in their bodies rather than simply to think about peace in their minds or pray "for" peace to occur.
On specific days of the month, at specific times of each day, these people were positioned throughout the war-torn areas of the Middle East. During the window of time that they were feeling peace, terrorist activities stopped, crimes against people declined, emergency room visits declined, and traffic accidents dropped.
When the people stopped their feelings, the statistics reversed. These studies confirmed the earlier findings; when a small percentage of the population achieved peace within themselves, that peace was reflected in the world around them. "

A few comments of my own:
I have found this ability to affect change thru positive "feeling" to be true in my own experience. I feel intensely and regardless of how I have been ridiculed for it or how people have tried to suppress that feeling in me, I have never considered it a negative quality. I think passion is one of the best things about being human -- about being alive. That this energy field exists to utilize the passion within us has certainly vindicated my stubborness in clinging to my feelings.
While positive prayer is only one application of the use of this field but in these times -- it is certainly an important one.
I find it interesting that it wld seem that, based on this theory, when exercising the power of will -- focusing the mind is perhaps less important that the focusing of one's feeling. I can't tell you how relieved this makes me feel ;-) Altho more likely -- the focused effect of both together is what separates the would-be healers and/or magicians from the really effective ones.
It brings to my mind sadness of all those people who are on drugs which tend to supress their emotions.
God speed to all of you. My mind is reeling these dayz with all the reading I am doing which gives words to the knowledge which I have been experiencing over the last twenty-five years and thus the words to communicate it. It is so rewarding to see the scientists verifying what the metaphysicists and ancient peoples have known for all time. While it is sad that this knowledge was lost to us for a long time, I am happy that it is surfacing in the "nick of time" for all to be able to benefit.
A few parting quotes from Gregg Braden from Whitley Streiber's Dreamland program:
"The war is being fought in our minds -- but it can only be won in our hearts." -- GB
"As the changes occur ... its less about the numbers of people and more about the quality of feelings that are being created." -- GB
