If you are going to to a MC, I HIGHLY recommend you go off all wheat and processed foods at least two weeks before. I feel AMAZING, last MC I felt pretty crappy and tired. This time, I feel like I could run all day!! *jumps up and down* Alright, I'll tell you what my diet was for three weeks before the MC: Brekkie - shake w/2 Tbs. Nutribiotic rice protein powder, 1/2 c. fresh or frozen berries, 2Tbs. flaxseed, 1Tbs. flax oil, ice and water. Snack - handful of raw nuts Lunch - salad w/romaine, spinach, artichoke hearts, red bell peppers, greek olives, walnuts, Newman's Own Olive oil and Vinegar dressing + protein shake w/rice protein and berries (no flax or flax oil) OR stir-fried veggies + brown basmati + protein shake Snack - same as breakfast, or an apple, or raw nuts, or vegetable broth, depending on appetite/activity level Dinner - Steamed veggies, grilled salmon, brown basmati rice/or beans of choice + brown basmati The only ways in which this really deviates from the norm from me, is that I normally eat whole wheat bread occasionally, oats, egg whites, Greek yogurt or Nancy's organic yogurt, and snacks like Lara Bars. Getting off of wheat made me feel surprisingly drug out and sick, worse than when I got off sugar. SWF DONE this morning!! And I'd like to say Celtic sea salt rocks my world! If you are having trouble gagging down the SWF, or are considering a MC soon, GET THE CELTIC SEA SALT. I used the grey, finely ground Celtic sea salt from Whole Foods bulk section. The SWF went down so smooth....no asslike taste whatsoever. Gulp gulp gulp and a few minutes later, it was down....yee-ha!!! It's hard to imagine breaking the fast on Saturday...I'm pretty sure I'm going to keep going as long as I feel this terrific! I'll make the final decision on Saturday, but DAMN I feel good! (Can you hear James Brown, baby??) Weight: 146 I've never weighed less than 140 in my adult life, so it might be fun to stick it out and try to get there, just for kicks, ya know?
