Day 4
and I'm already halfway through??
Date: 1/17/2006 2:47:35 PM ( 18 y ) ... viewed 3244 times Wow, time flies. Last night, I spent time with loved ones and danced for a couple of hours to Hamsa Lila and Shpongle. I felt terrific! And I outlasted my friends, which is a change....I was in a great mood, they were...not so great, which is another change, usually I'm the cranky one :)
Let's see...hunger pangs finally died down. I switched from Very Hot (40,000 HU) cayenne to Hotter than Holy Heck cayenne (90,000 HU) today and am happy with the extra spice.
Been drinking the Smooth Move tea, and have had only a little bit of mucous and lemon pulp pass through. I am confident that my guts are pretty clean and pink, after three weeks of P&B + clean eating. I didn't spend the night at home, and forgot to bring the celtic sea salt so I could do a flush this morning. So maybe tomorrow....(always tomorrow...hehe). My tongue is white and furry. I am cold even though we are experiencing a typical Houston winter (temps in the 60-70's, sunshine). But not miserably cold. I considered doing a Bikram class this morning, but woke up too late (I guess I wasn't too committed if I didn't set an alarm). Lots of energy. The HHH cayenne is draining my sinuses quite nicely.
Stomach is much less gurgly, hunger pangs are under control. I want to CHEW, but can deal.
If the next few days go this smoothly, I may fast another few days. The first cleanse that I did, I made a batch of lemonade first thing in the morning and would swig from it periodically throughout the day. This time, I pour a glass at a time and drink it, it is working a lot better for killing my appetite.
No scale where I was this morning, so no weigh in until tomorrow.
9:50 PM - Oh, HELL yeah! Now THAT'S what I'm talkin' about!!
I just got back from the gym. I was FREEZING. I couldn't take it anymore, I HAD to get some body heat going! So I spent 30 minutes on the crosstrainer and walked a few laps. Oh, momma, it was goooood. I set the machine to a level that is the one I use when I'm sick, so it was enough to get my heart pumping but not so much as to exhaust me and start burning muscle. I am on top of the world! Oh yeah! Now for some light yoga stretches and a mug of Smooth Move....ahh.....
