juice fast day 5
juice fast day 5
Date: 1/7/2006 3:16:10 PM ( 18 y ) ... viewed 2197 times Weekend time... Well today I realized that I actually stopped eating a week ago tomorrow, so I'm a little closer than I think. I mean, I'm going to come down really slowly anyway, so a day or two at the end will be totally dependant on how I feel at that point anyway.
I sat through my first "meal" while other people ate and I didn't. At the future in-laws house, we thought we'd just go up and drop a car off, and "not stay for dinner" which gets us out of the meal requirement. but of course, they started whipping things up as soon as we got there, so I had no choice but to join them at the table.
But, no one asked me why I wasn't eating and that was nice. They don't know what I'm doing. And I was able to get through it. I've never abstained like this before. I'm hoping it will give me new skills in life, as far as passing things up that I don't really want.
I went for a run this morning (it was like 8 degrees out. But it was beautiful and sunny and I feel really good. What's left to do today? Watch the Redskins game (flip during the taco bell commercials). I'm psyched I've made it this far. I'm getting little red bumpies on my face (no one else can see them). At first I thought they were toxins trying to get out, then I realized I haven't had veggie juice for a few days, and I've had a lot of citrus... That's probably it.
I have been off the veggie juice since a few days ago cause I drank to much and I feel like I can still taste the dill. I'm going to try to only have tea and water and broth for the rest of the day. Tomorrow is the bridal expo... I'm going to see if I can win a door prize or two. That would be really cool. Otherwise, I really don't give a crap. I know the stuff I want, and it's not at a bridal expo.
We're having a bbq picnic on top of a mountain in vermont (the in-laws house), and it's going to be chill, casual, and fun.
