day 3 for real
day 3
Date: 1/5/2006 5:46:14 AM ( 18 y ) ... viewed 2272 times OK, I just caught up with day 2 post which I missed.
This blog is really helpful. I"m also keeping a journal. Work is going to be busy today and tomorrow, which will either be a blessing or a curse. It seems to me the best thing is when time is moving and at work the clock moves (cause I'm busy). At home, it crawls and I think, am I ever going to get through thirty days? How is that going to be possible?
My journal also helps me organize my juice schedule. I just get tons of organic stuff from the store then come home and juice it. Well it helps to chill and not put 30 ingredients in your juices. You need a plan.
Well today is day 3, which means I'm 1/10 of the way through. That's a good thought. I'm going to think of this as a series of 3 day intervals. 1 down, 9 to go. And I know this is the hardest part. I'm sore in the shoulders this morning, and I kind of just feel like crap. The headache feeling is hanging around and a little bit of nausea. I'm going to try to drink really mild juices today. Yesterday I kind of went overboard with veggie juice. I made something really good, with 3 stalks celery, 2 cucumbers, a leek, 2 tomatoes, a little red cabbage, dill and cilantro. But I made 32 ounces, and drank it over three intervals. I couldn't have anything else yesterday and just thinking about it makes me feel a little nauseous (I'll never spell that right).
I really crave tea right now, no juices. Maybe that's a good sign. I'm also feeling a little hot under my skin, which burrows down to the pit of my stomach.
I'll probably write more later, as I feel like this is going to be a breakthrough day if I start to feel better.
