Day Seven and counting!
Day Seven and counting!
Date: 10/13/2005 9:43:50 PM ( 19 y ) ... viewed 1901 times Things are going well for both Ron and myself. He's on day 8, remember? He's still not feeling any hunger, and mine is down to about two stomach grumbles (like Charlie Brown's sister) during the day. The lemonade usual quiets it right away. Ron feels great and I have energy that I normally don't, also. I'm still riding the bike about 2 miles, which would be more if not for my tailbone pain, and I even worked in the yard for about 45 minutes this afternoon, in addition to all the other normal things we do day to day. I know we are both looking forward to eating again, but still feel we have some things to accomplish with this cleanse first. One of the first things I'm going to fix for us when we eat real solids again is one of those Amy's Pizzas like I've been making for my little boy. I add all kinds of veggie toppings and it just looks amazing! Ron is down another pound (171 lbs now) and I'm sure I finally lost one now. Hopefully more will come off. Everyone seems to notice now that I look thinner, which is a great feeling. Tongue still yucky and breath not too pleasant...for both of us....so we keep our distance from people (and each other!) :) Our skin looks great. My back is still bad, but I think my feet don't hurt as much. I'll take anything! My eyes don't seem quite as blood shot, either. That's been a problem for years now, and no one seems to know why. It would be great if this could clear that up. It's so funny to see the shock in people's faces when they find out what you're doing, or how long it's been since you've eaten. My mom is just acting mortified. I think she thinks we've decided to starve ourselves. I'm so grateful for this sight and for the book about this cleanse and am looking forward to great things from this experience. More tomorrow!
