Day Four Breakthrough and health history
Day Four
Date: 10/10/2005 11:10:18 PM ( 19 y ) ... viewed 2501 times I am almost at the end of day four and I really feel better today, especially toward this evening. I have so much more energy than I did yesterday, and the lightheadedness is much better, also. I'm still hungry, which surprises me from what I've read, and it's real gnarling, stomach growling kind of hunger. When I drink the lemonade it goes away for quite awhile. It's not too mental, which is good because I even made my toddler one of those roasted veggie cheese free pizzas by Amy's tonight, believe it or not. It smelled good, but not as good as great health will feel. Anything we want to eat will be there when we finish this fast. I wanted to mention that I've also been using Bio Qure foot pads every night on my feet. (I don't sell them) My accupuncturist told me that was what she used to pull out toxins from her body, so she sold me some at her cost, which was $1 each. I thought that was pretty good. I found them last night on the web for about the same price. It's amazing, and gross, to see how they look in the morning. You stick them on your feet and leave them on for 8+ hours and they look like mud in the morning! After you use them awhile they are supposed to stay white, which shows that they worked. I think I'm just loaded with toxins. This isn't just from what I've eaten over the years, because a lot of those adult years I really tried to make conscious decisions on the side of good health. I think the main problem stemmed from the Gulf Coast where I was born and raised. I grew up near one of the most polluted areas of the country, where they have hundreds of oil refineries. Cancer rates are higher there, too. When I was about 12 I started getting horrible allergies, so much so that I missed tons of school. In fact, my last year of high school I had to have a private teacher come to the house and help me because I was too sick to attend school anymore. I battled with that on and off for years and then when I was 22 I got deathly ill while on vacation in NY and Rhode Island in the winter time. I had a really high fever and the worse flu I'd ever had in my life. My hair hurt. I had hallucinations and was almost delirious. When I finally got back home, all the way to Texas, my parents took me to the Dr., who said that I had Mono. This was strange because I was a young adult, not a child. After two more months my folks took me to UTMB to several specialist. They were really worried because I was still sleeping 22 hours out of 24. I had fever, swollen glands, a sore throat, light sensitivity, ached all over and a host of other things. I was not a lazy person, and not depressed, so they knew something was really wrong. Up until this time I had 4 different part time jobs, lots of hobbies, did volunteer work, had a house full of pets, and jogged 5 miles a day on the beach. The diagnoses was CFIDS, Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction Syndrome. It was something we'd never heard of, and not something I wanted to have. The upside was that it wasn't fatal. The downside was it was something that you'd have to learn to live with and work around. The really big downside too was that it was something no one understood and everyone else said they had, too! "Oh, I've been really tired, too lately!" I was really, really sick for about a year and a half, and few months after I started getting something of my life back I met the most wonderful guy and married him 6 months later. That was something I didn't really think would happen after I got sick. He was wonderful. Yep, you guessed it, it was Ron. He's been so unbelievably supportive all these years and always lets me pace myself. My health is so much better that it was, but is still pretty fragile, and no, people still don't understand. It's OK though, I've learned to work around it. After we were married for quite awhile we decided that this was the time to have a baby. Getting pregnant was something my family had always worried about for me because of my health, but all went well for a little while, then I had a miscarriage, which was devastating. I got pregnant again after a few months and everything seemed to be much better this time around. We found out we were having twins, and were just out of our minds with joy. I lost them, too at 10 weeks. I thought I would die. I insisted the Dr. run a huge battery of tests even though he didn't want to, and thankfully they all came back normal. I went to get a 2nd opinion and switched Dr.s, and he said he thought it was just a bad coincidence. So....we decided to try again. I got pregnant with my little boy pretty soon and everything went perfect til 11 weeks before he was due. I was put on full bed rest for eight weeks, when he was born three weeks early. He was healthy and beautiful and just the most perfect baby ever born! He still is! During those previous pregnancies, and then the bedrest with the last pregnancy, I started developing some serious back problems that I'm still trying to deal with. Hence...the reason for the Master cleanse. I also put on too much weight because of being pregnant and nursing most of 4 years, as well as inactivity because of being so tired, even though I only gained 22 lbs with my baby boy. So, I'm playing catch up to try to get some health back....Whew! Bet you're tired! I am! :) I wanted to post this in case there's someone else out there in the same boat. You're not alone. Things will get better. Eat good, sleep good, laugh a lot and give and get all the love and good feelings you can from family and friends. Don't be too hard on yourself. Life is so good!
