I have the Rebel archetype in the first house which is the Ego/Personality. The birth of the self. I don't know how much I identified with this archetype until my 20's. This is the time that needed to be rebelling against traditional medicine and traditional births and traditional schooling. Once I studied these things out it was easy to choose something different. I guess I also rebel against some traditional holidays - Halloween and Christmas and how they are celebrated. And there might be other occasions where I rebel, and having that archetype then helps make it easy to accomplish and not care what anyone else thinks.

On Sunday at choir practice we started working on a song that I associate with many funerals. So the first time we went thru it a few weeks ago- I couldn't - I felt like crying. The arrangement is really beautiful too. So Sunday I just kept fingers on the collarbone point and took some deep breaths and sometimes tapped. I just kept my fingers there thru the whole song and while we were working on it. I know that there are strong emotions strongly connected and tapping calmed those emotions. It will be interesting to see what happens next time.
