Meridian tapping 30 Jan 2006
eft driving in snowstorm
Date: 1/30/2006 10:56:15 PM ( 17 y ) ... viewed 2294 times DH and I were driving all day over 2 days in wintery conditions. This is right out of a nightmare for me when I have to take over and in my head I know it will probably turn out just fine and all will be well, but emotionally there is alot of fear and anxiety tied up into it. Perfect conditions for tapping.
So the first experience it was dark, foggy and slushy roads. DH was sleeping so I was on my own and focusing very intently on the truck leading the way for me. I could feel my heart racing and I just kept deep breathing and tried to keep loose and relaxed. When we pulled over to switch drivers I felt like crying from relief that I was still alive. I had a lump in my throat and was a little shaky. I tapped the whole basic recipe for the fear and lump in my throat. The anxiety was lessening and I felt better.
The next day I drove again and it was thru a mountain pass and lightly snowing and a broken snow floor and a little foggy and the snow coming horizontally at me. Again - right out of a nightmare! When we stopped again I noticed I did not have a lump develop in my throat nor did I feel like crying from relief. I recovered much quicker from the whole experience.
