It takes 3 months to get rid of a delusion
Delusions take 3 months max to go away
Date: 4/8/2014 5:34:49 PM ( 10 y ) ... viewed 7468 times I was on crazyboards and someone there replied to my post saying that delusions take 3 months max to go away. That made me feel so good because I've been on the medicine for 6 weeks. They're breaking but I still believe them. It's hard to explain. It's like I know logically there's no way they're true but I still fear I smell and the devil is after me.
The voices have been good about reality checking me but what they say gives me little relief. I believe them but there's just this nagging thought in my head where I can't stop thinking about it. So it was a much needed relief when she said that it takes 3 months max for the delusions to go away. They're already going away so I don't think it will take me 6 more weeks for them to go.
I feel so good. I feel so hopeful. This torture is finally ending. I only have a few more weeks left. I can hold on a few more weeks. The voices told me everything will go away. God, the devil, and my uncle lee who passed away. All of them are me. And they will go away. They told me I make it, and they're just my subconscious.
They would tell me all those things but I wouldn't believe them. Now I do. Seeing that the devil isn't there anymore and I have all this evidence that I don't smell I feel really hopeful. Lets see where I'm at in a month.
