The day started badly as Phil woke my up at 3:30 a.m. To talk/fight with me, as I didn't answer his texts, while he was playing pool at the bar. First, my ringer was off, and I thinking I feel asleep after the first half of the movie I was watching, as I was tired. So we fought, as he wanted to talk things out to fix things between us before he moved out. I felt more criticized and lonely, as I tried to tell him I needed help with the bills, and that I would like some alone time with him as well, as it seemed that he was spending all his time with his son (which I really don't have a problem with) and I was starting to feel lonely and invisible in my own home. He told me that I was selfish. So I ended up crying, feeling lonely, and misunderstood. I ended up going in the living room in the dark and hugged on my kitties and listening to them purr. Mekong made me feel a bit better by licking my cheek and rubbing up against me. It didn't really help the problem with Phil and how I am going to try and fix things between us. All I know is that he isn't communicating with me enough. He only wants to communicate when there is a problem, but never wanting to communicate other then that. We don't do anything together, if once in a while playing game together. Mostly he and his son doing things in the guest room and I am by myself. Yeah, it was hard not to cry hard, as he said I was selfish. I am still pondering if I am. I have asked several of my close friends if I am. They say “No, not by any means” but I am still wondering if I am blind to what he really sees. Maybe I am really selfish. Maybe because I don't want to cry myself to sleep anymore and I don't want to find myself so very hurt, when he walks away to go to the guest room or when he goes to play pool. Sigh. By crying I gave myself an migraine headache so I didn't get up until after 11:00 a.m.

FOOD INTAKE:

BREAKFAST: Half of a pear, (47 Calories), Half of an Granny Smith apple (40 Calories) and 1 cup of bean stew of Red Kidney beans, Navy beans, split pea and Lentils that I made myself- No salt added ( approximately 130 calories) TOTAL CALORIES: 217

DRINK: 12 Ounces of Oolong Tea (consumed over 3 hour period ( I made up a batch of Oolong tea in my travel mug, as well as my 12 ounce thermos so that I had it with me during the day, as I was leaving the house to visit my best friend)

SNACK: (Around 1 p.m) Half of Granny Smith apple (40 Calories) (I packed a lunch before I left the house, since I was sure to be hungry since I was not going to be home: A cup and a half of bean stew, 2 spears of steamed broccoli, ¼ cup of corn, one serving of peanuts and a half of an Granny Smith Apple)

SNACK: (Around 3:00 p.m. - at the grocery store shopping) one cracker (wheat like) in a little bit of Jarsberg cheese dip ( I always wanted to know what it tasted like so since they allowed you to sample it I thought I would try it as I was getting hungry) (approximately 170 Calories)

LUNCH (was about 3:30 p.m)l One cup of Bean stew -unheated, as I was hungry. LOL (130 Calories) and a couple of spoonfuls of corn (approximately 16.50 calories)

DRINK: 12 ounces of Oolong Tea (out of my thermos. I drank it over my friend, Cecila's house) drank over a 4 hour period

DINNER: (About 8 p.m. -I was late preparing it) A piece of Steel-head (approximately two serving sizes) (a cross bred of Salmon and Trout- it is not bad) (Calories unknown but I am using calories for Salmon which is 550 for two serving sizes) A mixed of steamed veggies (5 baby carrots, 5 fresh cut up green beans, 2 broccoli florets, 2 cauliflower florets, and one slice eggplant cut up)(152 Calories) TOTAL CALORIES: 702

DRINK: cup of Vanilla Rooibos Tea before bed

SNACK: (around 11:00 a.m- I usually don't eat this late, but I was hungry. I think it is because my normal eating pattern was way off since I got up at 11:00 a.m. Instead of 7 or 8 a.m.) One and half cups of Baby Spring Mix (20 calories) and Balsamic vinaigrette spray ( 3 squirts – 3 calories) TOTAL CALORIES: 23

TOTAL CALORIES FOR THE DAY: 1,298.50

Wow, that is a lot of calories for the day. That is a lot and very surprising to me. I bet that is the most I have ingested since I broke my fast. That definitely is NOT typical for me.

I was really active today, as I was restless to want to go, go GO! I even tried a pair of my smaller jeans on today. They were still size 10's but they were a more tailored cut. I was able to fit in them and button them, which means that the fat around my hips and abdomen is definitely getting worked off.

When I was over at my best friend's house, we talked about losing weight. She is losing it slowly. (She is about 200 pounds), but she is only eating once or twice a day. She works in a factory and when she does eat, she eats mash potatoes and gravy and that is it. I told her that she needed to start eating salads without dressing while she is at work (they have a cafeteria), the fiber would help her feel full as well help keep her blood sugar level. I told her how I read that keeping your blood sugar level by eating healthy foods, like veggies, beans and fruits, will trigger your body to burn fat instead of store it. I told her that I have been making sure that the only sugar I am getting is through natural sugar from fruit. She did say that I did look healthier and thinner over the last couple months.

I told her that I have been eating a lot of beans, instead of red meat. I have been having a bit of chicken and fish here and there, but I am not stuffing myself during three meals a day, but eating small meals all day long and I feel great. I told her that I seems that I am eating more all day long then I am eating at traditional 3 meals a day. Of course, now that I am checking my calories, I realize that I eating less calories by splitting them up throughout the day. I am definitely not starving or feeling hungry at all, unless I accidentally get too busy and I am not around my food source (my packed lunch or at home) I told her that I am always eating something it seems around every 3 hours.

I am so proud of myself that I weighed myself in the morning and found out that I now weigh 135 pounds! I am so excited about that as it means that I am doing well, with my post water fast diet and I haven't caused myself to overeat/binge like it seems to be a habit with other fasters. I think I have really keep control of it, by making sure that I am eating several times a day, but nothing over a serving size at one sitting. I am surely getting enough food, as I am not finding myself starving or hungry, unless I have went more then over 3 or 4 hours without a snack or really eating a meal.

Another thing that I have noticed that I don't eat off a plate much any more, as I put my food in little containers (especially when I am packing my lunch) so that I can control serving sizes that I am eating. I find myself putting a cup of bean stew in a small plastic container, seeing how it looks in the container, and then heating it up so I can eat it. I guess I am doing that so I can see what a serving size and a customizing myself to what it looks like, so when I am eating somewhere else, I can judge what is a serving size, even a half a cup and a ¼ cup of something, like veggies. My friend, Cecila, is telling me that I am coming over to her house for Christmas dinner, as well as my office has decided that they ARE going to have the Christmas luncheon after the one attorney said we were not going to have one at all, so the major test will be on December 23rd and December 25th. LOL. Cecilia told me that she will expect me to eat at least one cookie on Christmas. I am sure that I can get past that if I tell her I am too full to eat it. LOL.

I went to the grocery store to buy some more food, as I was running out. I seriously thought about starting another water fast for 10 days (December 12- December 21) but decided not to as I am doing great without fasting, as well as I am losing a little bit of weight healthily while eating. I think I will do another water fast around December 26th (only for 10 days or as long as I can go, which will hopefully be longer then the previous fasts) depending on what I ingesting over the week as well as long as my huge container of baby Spring greens are gone. LOL I bought an eggplant and two Portabella mushroom caps, as I was really craving them. I bought about a pound of fresh green beans, two bags of organic mixed veggies (carrots, broccoli and cauliflower), two bags of dried 16 bean soup (as I was getting tired of just Red Kidney beans, navy beans and green split peas, some more spices, as I am using a lot of garlic powder, and my garlic and herb mix on my steamed veggies and fish. I wanted to buy some Salmon, but I saw something that looked like salmon, but it said Steel-head so I asked the meat deli what it was. The butcher said that Steel-head is a cross bred of Salmon and Trout. I decided to get two filets of it, as it did look good. I made it for dinner. It wasn't bad. It tasted a little like salmon, yet it also had a slight fishy taste, that I assume that is how Trout tastes. I probably will go for Salmon next time as that is what I like when I eat fish. I bought a huge container of Fresh Express of baby mixed Spring greens (a big deep tub, which when empty, I germinate my seeds – lemon seeds, orange seeds, etc, as I like to garden a bit in the winter time)

I have been craving eggplant and mushrooms, so I am very happy to purchase some while at the store. I have also been craving some cabbage, raddishes and turnip as well as celery but I didn't want to buy too much food and not eat it in time before it went bad as I am only eating small amounts. The fresh food that I have is clearly enough to last me at least 3 or 4 days if not more.

EXERICISE: Walked 4.5 miles on my pedometer, and did a little bit of dancing around (Listening to my MP3 Player) as I made my tea and packed my lunch

WATER INTAKE: about 10 ounces

WEIGHT: 135 pounds.(Weighted myself in the morning) Yay!
