Fibromyalgics' worst weather.
Weather is too cold for Fibros
Date: 5/3/2010 1:10:19 PM ( 14 y ) ... viewed 2344 times I guess there is a certain kind of hilarious irony in being a staunch "emissions reductions" proponent while suffering from extraordinary cold weather.
My Fibromyalgia {"Fibro"} really kicks the snot out of me in cold weather. Changing barometric pressure is one factor, as is humidity. It is cold and changing and raining so hard that it is near total darkness here right now, despite being the noon hour.
We had two nice days at the start of March, and two more at the end of April this year. Otherwise, bla.
In fact, today's high of 7oC will be a record low high temperature for today. It will drop below freezing tonight.
Normally we are enjoying highs of 20oC or more by this time of year. And lots of sunshine. I would need a flashlight to read outside today!!
I guess things are changing, and these abnormal conditions are a result of climate change, but gee if the planet is going to warm up I would at least like to enjoy the positive aspects of that warming. Someone is enjoying warm days somewhere in the world... but others are suffering due to climate change so I should be gratefull that we are getting rain.
I live in the Pacific Northwest - are there other Fibros out this way having difficulty this year?
