The principal behind the mucusless diet is as follows. The internal body should have a thin layer of mucus around it, esp in areas that are exposed to the outside world (ears, eyes, nose, mouth, etc). It is in this thin layer of mucus where harmful bacteria, germs, viruses, fungi, etc are collected and faught off by the body. This is one of our first lines of defence and where the battle should be taking place. However, many people eat a diet of dead, denaturalize foods thereby creating a very thick layer of mucus that the body cannot eliminate. The immune system is not able to operate in this thick layer. All the things the body is to be fighting against get caught in this mucus, the immune system, unable to move, can do nothing about it. This creates a toxic soup which is very detrimental to the body. Dr Christopher formed the Mucusless Diet over 50 years ago and it still applies today. It is simple and very natural.
There is a list of foods to avoid while following the mucusless diet. All of them come under one or more of the following categories: secondary food, denaturalized food, or inorganic food substances. The most common of these foods are as follows:
- Salt: Too much salt in one’s body impairs it from proper functioning.
- Eggs: No eggs should be eaten in any form as they cause much mucus to form in the body
- Sugar and all sugar products: Sugar in a refined state is very taxing to the body, especially the pancreas and liver.
- Meat: Meat is hard to digest and will cause fermentation, putrefaction, and other harmful actions of the body. All red meat should be eliminated. A little white fish or young chicken organically raised once a week is allowed.
- Milk: Eliminate all diary products. These are all mucus forming substances and, in most cases, are extremely high in cholesterol.
- Flour and flour products: When flour is heated and baked at high temperatures, it changes to a mucus-forming substance. The life has been taken out of it.
All wholesome food is organic where unwholesome food or dead food is inorganic. This is the key to the mucusless program.
The foods one eats on the mucusless diet program include any and all food which is wholesome, complete, raw, and in its entireness state. These include whole, low cooked grains, nuts, berries, fruit, vegetables, and seeds.
How to low head cook: use a grain that has the life therein (make sure it can sprout). Then soak it in water for 16-24 hours, heat in stainless steel double boiler at 135 degrees or lower. Cook overnight, and in the morning it is ready for consumption. The wheat should be popped open, soft, and tasty. Add a little oil or fresh vegan butter. Also cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice are tasty.
If a person has cancer, do not overdo eating protein such as nuts. It will do damage to the pancreas. Eat only as many as 8-10 almonds in the morning and same at noon. Therefore, it gives the pancreas time 16-18 hours to clear and start to work on enzymes again.
All water should be vapor distilled water since it is a “hungry” water and will help dissolve and eliminate inorganic buildup in the body.
Supplements to be taken while following the mucusless diet include:
- Cayenne: Cayenne is an excellent herbal food. It also stabilizes the whole blood system, from the top of the head to the tip of the toe. It should be taken 3 times a day, ¼ teas. dissolved in a little water.
- Honey and Apple Cider Vinegar: The A.C.V. will help dissolve inorganic buildup that has accumulated in the body. This includes along the arteries, nerves, and kidneys, as well as many other areas as well. It should be taken 3 times a day after the cayenne drink by dissolving 1 teas. honey and 1 tlbs A.C.V. in warm water.
- Kelp: This will keep the body in good condition as it is a preventative nutrition. It helps build a new thyroid gland. One should take between 10-15 kelp tablets daily.
- Molasses: Molasses is full of vitamins and minerals and is very good for vegetarians. Take 1 tbls 3 times a day.
- Wheat Germ Oil: Full of healthy omega fats and it helps lubricate the body, wheat germ is very healthy. Take 1 tble 3 times a day.
