28 Day Medical Fast, Day 19

You can't deny your body for too long before it slows it's metabolism down to conserve the fat stores. The bodies priorities are, protect the brain first, then lean protein, then fat. Roughly, in layman's terms.
I'll really start seeing the weight come off when I begin my raw, uncooked, unprocessed and unrefined food lifestyle. I'm super excited and have a list of favorite raw vegan blogs I follow for great recipes.
I can't wait to start not cooking. My wife still eats hamburger helper, frozen chimichangas, macaroni and cheese, McDonalds, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Dairy Queen, Sheri's Restaurant food, deli nitrate meat, and all the stuff I used to eat. I look at it now and shudder. I know without a doubt my biggest problem will be the vegetarian pizza (wheat dough) and red wine with sulfites. If I can make a fresh wine myself to avoid them I will. I've brewed my own beer before.
I'll break my fast on day 28. In the morning to be exact. I'm actually on day 20 because of the liver cleanse the day before my fast began, but who's counting?
