Master Cleanse Day 7
Yeah another milestone. my weight didnt change today. i have put the scales away and will try to leave them away until 30 days. mainly because it doesnt really matter what the scale says i am going the full 30 days. i will continue the master cleanse for the next 3 days and then go back to a juice fast probably alternating with water/mc only days. i am hoping i will be down to 135 by the end. i will decide if i am going to continue on when i get to 30 days. i think the most i will do is 40 days - my birthday is coming around the corner so i would like to celebrate. i went for a walk on the ... read more

Master Cleanse day 6
Not much to say another day of fasting. I swam a mile today - i was going to do weights but my legs and arms are sore. i think the master cleanse is much harder to do than a juice fast. i have been really hungry. but i want to try and make it to 10 days. i cant wait to have a juice when i am done! Weight is 140. a bit of a boring weekend but it is only 30 days out of my life - there will always be another weekend around the corner. Weight down to 141 thats 13 pound in 19 days which is not great but still i will take it. mostly water today and mc tonight - i was feeling really hungry and wanting food today and last night. that is one thing with a juice fast you dont really get hungry but i am finding with the master cleanse i am hungry. maybe i am just not drinking enough. i ran today and my legs were extremely sore. i drank smooth move last night, no oxypowder and the metallic taste has gone. i will continue with smooth moove and every third nite or so take the oxypowder. i cant face a salt water flush or other laxat ... read more

Master cleansing!
My weight has not changed today which i find nearly impossible due to the fact i have being only on MC lemonade and water for the last 3 days and i have worked out every day. Last night i did 25mins bike 20 mins elyptical and 40 mins weights. But i am in jeans that even on the weekend did not fit me. each day i am able to fit into a few more things in my cupboard so i am losing inches if not weight. i still have a huge stomach which is always my problem area. i cant wait to see that gone! i have decided to try and stick to the mc as long as i can. i always wanted to do a 10 day master clea ... read more

mmmm just going thru the motions
Weight is 142, so like the last fast i lost 12 pd in 17 days. i have 12 more to go to goal weight, im not sure if i will go past 30 - i will just see how i feel at the time. definately making the 30 days. last two days have been mc and water only - again just havent felt like juice and to be honest i really wanted the weight to move so i guess i have been avoiding juice to make that happen. i have found that i have lost my thirst all together. i have to force myself to drink, i know i am not getting enough fluids. which is probably the reason i feel so lethargic and sleepy. i ran last nigh ... read more

About time!
Fianlly my weight dropped, i am 143 i shouldnt get ahead of myself though my weight has gone up and down in the last 6 days. i have to remember last time i fasted for 17 days i only lost 12 pounds - i just thought this time because i had so much extra it would be faster. but a good thing i am in my jeans and they are not tight. still a long long way to go, today for the first time i got a little depressed that i let myself get this bad but i am doing something about it and it is moving - slowly but surely. yesterday was mc and water only, i havent decided to switch to mc, i just didtn feel ... read more

5th milestone - half way done! Or maybe not????
Half Way yahoo! My weight is still at 145, this is getting really annoying. If i wasnt seeing and feeling some changes then i would be so much more upset. i am wearing some pants today that fit lose and only a few weeks ago were really tight. i am also finding that i am enjoying getting dressed in the morning again. more things in my cupboard are starting to fit me which is great but i still have a lot to go before i can fit into the majority. Yeah 4th milestone
Not much to say about the last two days. regular days really. i have not hit that part of the fasting where i am cold yet so waiting for that to come. Then i know i am deep into the cleansing. my weight is stagnent at 145. this is hard when i have been exercising 6 days a week - i ran again last nite. i honestly dont want to start looking at how many calories i am taking in etc that to me would defeat one of my favourite things about fasting which is not having to worry about what i am eating - because i am not eating. ive always said its like a holiday away from food. im not sure why the ... read more

Low Energy Day
another good sleep although today i have had little energy all day i felt like a nap in the middle of the day but didnt want to mkae it tuff for me to sleep tonight. i ran tonight very slow but it was nice to finally run outside and not on a treadmill. my weight this morning was 147 which is frustrating, but i was able to put on a pair of jeans i havent worn for a month so that is good news. last night was a little hard in that i was hungry and wanted a beer. but i go thru is by juicing and watching a good movie. still going strong on the fast and looking forward to being lean again. hopef ... read more

a good nights sleep should never be overated!
Another night of blissful sleep. i could continue fastign forever just to have that sleep everynight. i love it, i go to bed fall asleep straight away and dont wake up at all until the next morning. no interuptions. it feels like i slept like a rock - i never quite knew what that expression meant until the last few nights. just wonderful. the wheat grass shot did not sit well with me all day and even into the evening - so nope its not going to be a regular thing. last night i ran 3 miles (still slow and not continuosly) and weights for 30 mins. i was really sore so the whole workout was un ... read more

Yeah 3rd milestone
Well i am pretty happy about the 10 days. Definately in the rhythm of fasting. Last night i had the most magic sleep thank goodness! Weight today is 146. My jeans feel a little more comfortable. At times i dont feel like the weight is disappearing quick enough but i can handle it. as long as i still feel good and can see some results. I just thought i would be further ahead. Yesterday was awful so hopefully it has to get better
Oh my gosh yesterday was a really tuff day. i woke up feeling really awful my weight was up to 152. After a day of unpleasantness i was down to 147 last night. So 5 pound somehow dissappeared. i could not face juice or any mc so it was water only. i think i over did the oxypowder. i have been taking it since day 4, i started with 5 tablets and then reduced to 3 each night. so last night i didnt take any - no bms today as expected i will try and take two tonight and see if that works. elimination is still the hardest part of fasting to me. i also had the worse nights sleep which is again re ... read more

Not a great day
Not feeling so great today. I finally slept really well, i fell asleep almost straight away and slept soundly. this morning i weighed in and im back up to 150pd which is really frustrating. But im not going to worry too much yet. I think the main reason is my cycle started today so i expect a little weight gain with that. But the thing that has probably got me a bit down is that i am not noticing any difference in the clothes i am wearing. second milestone
i made it thru a week yeah. i am still not sleeping the way i would like i remember sleeping really well on previous fasts but this one i am finding it really hard to get to sleep and sleeping lightly. today i did not exercise and i was fine with that. i took it really easy. weight is 148, it is slow but at least it is heading in the right direction. in the middle of the day i really felt like i had his fast thing under control, i havent missed food very much but then out of the blue comes this overwhelming feeling of wanting to give in. it was only a breif moment but it took me by suprise ... read more

yahoo first milestone
Day 5 went by rather easy considering it was friday night and i usually really suffer missing all of the friday festivity we have. but last night was good i am just really committed to this fast. first milestone accomplished i woke up in the morning again really tired, weighed myself and i was up 1.5 pounds. this can really suck but i know it is just part of it. my first fast this didnt happen until a little further into the fast. and i was devistated but this time i know it can happen and honestly im ok. if i get to day 12/14 and i havent seen some significant weight loss then i might not ... read more

so glad to be fasting!
i reluctantly woke up today hitting the snooze button twice, i couldve slept all day. but i feel good. my weight is 149 so down 5 pound only 15 more to go. i had moments of wanting to eat last night but not so bad. all i do is think ok do i want to eat because im hungry and if the answer is yes i just have a juice, a lemonade or water. but more often than not it is just mind games. and they are easy for me on this fast because i know the benefits of fasting far out way missing food. i dont like what i see in the mirror when i look at my fat body. but i do like me. and the difference is now ... read more

A good tired!
