Powerful Morning Dream 16 y
Had a profound dream this morning, with a deep spiritual message.
Dream:
I am staying in a house overnight, and am to share the bedroom of two young girls about ages 10-14. These two African American girls are highly remarkable--they have a deep inner knowing and a deep belief in themselves as spiritual beings. They are joyous and self-confident and exude an inner calm; I am amazed by them. They tell me a story about a French woman; as they tell me the story, I can ”see” the story unfolding:
The French woman radiates a powerful spiritual light and energy all of the time; it is visible to anyone who looks at her. People come to her for healing and s ... read more

Excerpt from an email I received discusses the reasons for our current financial crisis with a focus on 5 main "players" who have great responsibility for the crisis.
They took greed and incompetence to all-new levels...

Open Letter to Obama 16 y
President-elect Obama and VP-elect Joe Biden have a website up that allows for the "common man and woman" to write their ideas of solving some of the problems the U.S. faces in the coming months and years. I wrote a letter regarding my views on alternative energy, climate change, and oil dependence, summarized from Co-Op America's article "Ten Strikes Against Nuclear Power"
”Congratulations on your election win!
RE: Climate change, oil dependence, and the environment.
Dear President-Elect Obama and Vice President-Elect Joe Biden:
I am heartened to know that you support alternative energies as ways to reduce our dependence on oil and reduce CO2 emissions that contribute to global warming. However, I am very dismayed by your campaign promises to look into the expansion of the use of nuclear power.
Nuclear power is NOT an ”alternative energy” and causes more problems for the environment and for national security.
Solar power, wind power, geotherm ... read more

Feeling stunned that the sky could look so beautiful and clear over my house in Southern California on a crisp Fall day, I took about two dozen shots. Forgot to upload them into the computer from the camera until today--what a contrast to the murky skies we're now having in Southern California from the fires!
