Do not be self-serving   5 y
** " Godly anger is directed at the devil with no consideration of being self-serving."

Follow the Words of the Gospel: 1) ”Love your enemies” 2) ”be angry and sin not” 3) ”Let not the sun go down upon your wrath” 4) ”Righteous anger” JOHN 2:12-14 Jesus brought the message of ”love your enemies” to the world and demonstrated it in such a way that some people have forgotten instances like this when Jesus showed anger. Anger can also be a godly emotion. Ephesians 4:26, tells us to ”be angry and sin not”. This means there is a righteous type of anger which is not sin. This is why we are told to hate evil (Ps. 45:7; 119:104, 163; Pro. 8:13; Rom. 12:9). Eph ...   read more

" Whom do you serve?"   5 y
** Unless you seek the Absolute Truth of God in your life - all else is wasted effort!

” Whom do you serve?” The Truth Shall Make You Free 31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:31-32 (NKJV) I have become a Disciple of Christ, and have chosen to seek the truth in every avenue of life! There can be no better way. The world seems to be in an ongoing battle to see who controls everything! The unfortunate part about that is, they are misled and do not realize that we do not really control our environment and must le ...   read more

The Water Turned to Wine    5 y
** "Let God be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servants" (Ps. 35:27) **

John 2:1-11 New King James Version (NKJV) Water Turned to Wine 2 On the third day, there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. 2 Now both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding. 3 And when they ran out of wine, the mother of Jesus said to Him, “They have no wine.” 4 Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does your concern have to do with Me? My hour has not yet come.” 5 His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.” 6 Now there were set there six water-pots of stone, according to the manner of purification of th ...   read more

Financially unsustainable   5 y
** Maybe “Progressive” works when the progressive population is small and can be mostly ignored and/or tolerated by the population that pays the tab for it. But when its population becomes something closer in size to the mainstream population it is painful to live with and financially unsustainable. **

From a post by Hal Bray, Special to California Political News and Views My wife and I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. But like 46% of Bay area residents in a June 2018 Bay Area Council poll, we are considering leaving California. Arizona looks like our destination although many friends have already moved to Texas, Nevada, Idaho, and Tennessee. Why? Simple. California’s Progressive culture and the government has turned the state into a filthy, debt-ridden, congested third world country with high taxes, high crime, and the highest housing costs in the country. Our little pie ...   read more

satan's power is limited    5 y
** Don't give in to the false promises of Satan and all those who follow him! **

SATAN’S POWER IS LIMITED MT. 4:1-11; MK. 1:12-13; LK. 4:1-13 The wording of this verse implies that Satan exhausted his arsenal of temptations on Jesus and then had to leave. We have mistakenly given Satan too much credit. He does not have a limitless number of temptations that he can pull on us. As 1 John 2:16 says, there are three areas where the devil tempts us: (1) the lust of the flesh, {Greed} (2) the lust of the eyes, and {Sexual attractions} (3) The pride of life. {Self-centeredness} Jesus’ three temptations correspond to these. By ascribing to Sata ...   read more

Who do you say I am?   5 y
** People were willing to identify Jesus as someone special but not as God. There can be no compromise on this point **

Who do you say I am? Everyone knows of Christ but do they really know who He is? Until you understand exactly who He, (Christ) actually is, then you do not really know Him! The following study shows and answers the question of ” Who do you say I Am? ” Matthew 16:13-20 13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Who do men say that I the Son of man am? 14 And they said Some say that you are John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. 15 He said them, But who say you that I am? 16 And Simon Peter a ...   read more

Let God use you!   5 y
** It takes great humility to recognize the call of God on your life and let Him use you. **

** Let Him use you. MT. 3:13-17; MK. 1:9-11; LK. 3:21-23 John the Baptist was overwhelmed that Jesus was asking to be baptized by him. John had already declared himself unworthy to unloose the latchet of Christ’s shoes, and now the Christ was asking him to administer His baptism (Lk. 3:16). Likewise, we are often overwhelmed by the idea that the Lord could use us. Who are we to proclaim the unsearchable riches of Christ? It is easy to disqualify ourselves and not fulfill God’s instructions. However, Jesus told John that he had to do it to fulfill all righteousness. ...   read more

++ From a friend! Hi, my name is Wilburn Mashburn I have been studying and researching fasting for over 30 years now, give or take. This is what I found out. (Deuteronomy 8:3) He might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by everything that proceed out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live. John 5:35 (hearing the living word of God within.) When a person reaches their true being within, this happens to everyone. Theirs a sound that comes on inside yourself. This sound, it’s the life source of the being, without this sound the being is dead, Hence, the walking ...   read more

fuel, ions and better performance! 100 MPG

Bob Teeter Yesterday at 5:10 PM News item. Because of the high cost of changing to diesel or electric hybrid cars, the auto industry wants something new, on-demand hydrogen units. Of course, we already have this. The key here is that adding hydrogen to gasoline increases octane from 87 to 107. Hydrogen is a catalyst used in some processes in refineries, gasoline for one. It’s called hydro-cracking. But the new part is, with higher octane. The same size engine can use a higher compression with turbo-charging, meaning much more air gets into the cylinders. That raises the MPG by as much ...   read more

1. What signs indicate that the End Times are near? The Rapture—the raising of the Church into heaven (1 Thessalonians 4:17)—is the next event on the prophetic calendar. The following signs indicate that the End Times are near. The Sign of Deception Many people will claim to be the Messiah and claim to have the answers for a troubled world. Jesus says to “take heed”—literally to keep our eyes open so we are not fooled. In the End Times, people will be crying desperately for leaders to deliver them, and they will seek mystics and religious leaders who claim to have deeper kno ...   read more

Life is about living and loving those around you even if you do not realize it yet! Romans 6:4 (NKJV) 4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in a newness of life. LUKE 1:39-56 Upon hearing the greeting of Mary, John the Baptist leaped for joy inside his mother’s womb (v. 44). A six-month-old fetus experienced unbridled emotion, voluntarily leaped for joy and was actually filled with the Holy Spirit. It is no coincidence that the man Jesus called the greatest of all Old Testament prophets, was the only man in the Bible to be filled with the Holy Ghost from his mother’s womb (Lk. 7:28). The anointing of God that breaks every yoke is simply the manifest presence and working of the Holy Spirit (Isa. 10:27). The Holy Spirit is the part of the ...   read more

Seek the complete truth!   5 y
** Often times we let the "How" govern our lives- through rash decisions instead of seeking the truth when necessary! There are always things which can lead you astray - seek the complete truth before acting.

We all want to know the ”How” in our life - Patience and seeking is the answer and many times the answer is ” NO” or not ”That ” way”! Learn when to seek and then follow the truth! Trust God! Luke 1:34, ”Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?” LUKE 1:26-38 Contrast Mary’s question and Gabriel’s response with the question that Zacharias asked Gabriel and the response that he received (Luke 1:18-20). You will find the questions are similar but the responses are totally different. Both Mary and Zacharias asked how these miracles would ...   read more
