Autumn leaves around my Southern California suburban neighborhood
This photo is NOT computer color enhanced--I was very surprised the stems came out blue-toned;
I’d guess this is from the overcast weather and resultant light conditions interacting with the camera lens.
Every house in the neighborhood has to have it’s green suburban lawn, no matter I live in an area classified as a ”desert”.
I liked the contrast of colors here.

This morning was cold and foggy. Stumbling outside, half-asleep, I was greeted by this large garden spider in her newly formed web.

Photos Up! A few years ago, I received an email with photos depicting a woman hand-feeding hummingbirds. These photos went around the world via email, with no photo credit given. Today I received the same photos via email. After a bit of internet sleuthing, I found the origins of the photos! They've been authenticated by two "Urban Legends" websites. Enjoy these beautiful photos by Sam Alfano of his wife Abigail and their hummingbird visitors in their backyard in Pine, Louisiana.
Original email received:
"This is something I have never seen before, nor ever even heard of. This lady lives in a Hummingbird fly zone. As they migrated, about 20 of them were in her yard. Just for a lark, she took the little red dish and filled it with sugar water and these are the results."

Several years ago Spirit showed me a vision of the inside of my mind and I saw many boxes strewn about at random, all sealed. Spirit told me to "empty the boxes of my mind".
