Re: Does mercury toxicity (from amalgams) cause permanent damage?

People have all the brain cells they will ever have by age two and they don't regenerate. For those of us in this forum that actually have brain cells, damage from hg cannot be reversed since hg kills brain cells.
Mercury is the most powerful mutagen on the planet.Cantoni,O. Molecular Pharm 26:360-68;Biochem.Biophys.Res .Commun.108:614-19.When DNA strands are browen by x-rays ,the damage is repaired to a certain extent. Hg breaks DNA and prevents repair of the DNA strands.
Women are born with all of the eggs they will ever have. Hg gets into ovaries and damages eggs. Damage to eggs can occur prenatally if a female fetus is exposed to hg from her mothers fillings.
