OH FOR CRYING OUT FREAKING LOUD, ANOTHER ONE????

No problem John......

Here we go again. I used Almond oil (say it slow so you will understand.... A-L-M-O-N-D--O-I-L)on both my flushes and got GREEN stones. Emerald green to be exact. Almond oil happens to be clear, NOT GREEN. Read this twice so you will get it, almond oil is NOT green, my stones were. Blows your theory right there.

I make soap ALL the time. And just so you know, olive oil soap needs an additive like spinach or commercial colorant to make it green. If you use just olive oil, you get WHITE soap. Ever heard of Castile soap? Ever seen it? It is WHITE and it is made predominantly of olive oil and true castille is made totally of olive oil. I personally don't make it because the balance of fat to alkali is so precise that it never comes out right for me. It is that hard to make. Seems to me that different people with different amounts of bile and oil could make a soap accidently that I can't even make on purpose when I want to and I am an experienced soap maker. A pro if you like.

You give these references to soapmaking sites, did you ever read them? If so, you would know that to make soap, you have to stir the fats and lye together for over an hour in order for it to begin saponification. I personally use a stick blender which cuts the time down to 20 minutes. WHERE in the body does anything stir the way a stick blender would stir for 20 straight minutes? HMMM.... I really want to know.

Then after the fats have been stirred (FOR AN HOUR) to a pudding consistency which is called the trace stage, it is poured into a mold and then if it stays warm enough, it goes through a gel stage where the soap becomes too hot to touch. This kind of heat would cook your insides and KILL you. For those who do not speak english, KILL means dead, you die, you get??????

Here is another fact, if acid is added to the soap making process before the alkali and fats are added together, you will not get the trace stage because the acid will neutralize the alkali enough to ruin the soap. Most acidic materials have to be added later. Stomach acid would be added to the fat BEFORE it gets to the alkali...

And one more thing. I used latex gloves and picked up one of the green stones and played with it a little, (OK, I am weird, I admit...) and I crushed it between my fingers and it felt nothing like soap. Nor did it make any suds when I tried to rinse it off my gloves. All the soap I have ever made (and we are talking about many pounds\kilos of it, I make it to sell...) will make suds at any stage after the fat and alkali are added together. This stuff felt and reacted nothing like soap. It smeared and was nearly impossible to wash from the gloves. Even SOAP, (that's real soap to the language challenged) would not remove it. Funny how we can make soap that is not water soluble. HMMMMMMMM......I DON'T THINK SO.

If I hear this one more time, I may just blow a gasket....ARGGH
