I think that you are on to something big! My husband had terrible athletes foot and 12 years later, his toes nails have been black with no change. I have never seen them clear! I used to give him pedicures... I wonder if that could have transferred the athletes foot fungus to my nose or mouth? That would explain so much! Not sure how it would get in my mouth/throat.

As of now, I don’t have a taste or smell coming from my mouth, throat, or nose. I did have to change to a stronger antifungal cream... Daktarin. I mixed it in Nasocort and sprayed my nose... it stung a little the first time, but no stinging since. I use the Daktarin Oral Gel in my mouth and it tastes pretty clean. Been using that for about 3 days. I’ll keep all posted! I guess there are so many types of yeasts/fungus’ and most doctors make you think that you are crazy if you say that you may have an overgrowth of yeast. Tweet
