You cannot plan to surrender… to unconditionally surrender… surrender only happens… it happens when the ego dissolves… it happens when there is a death of the ego…you can not make it happen… meditation will set the stage for surrender to happen… for the ego to dissolve away… and die.

All belief is borrowed... all beliefs leads one further and further away from oneself... further and further away from truth… from love…
Whether it is believing in ghosts… god or the devil… or believing that sky is falling… it is all borrowed information that does not come out of one's own search…
When you believe, you have stopped searching… you have stopped looking to find out for yourself… when you believe, you stop remaining open to change… and life changes moment to moment… when you believe, you have disconnected yourself from real life.

Mind is a good servant... and makes for a terrible Master…
Mind is a great troublemaker when it is mistaken as the Master...
it creates all the problems…

Existence is one... it is the mind that divides into two...
All dichotomies appear as opposites… they are not. They are not really opposed to each other at all… they are compliments.
Good and bad, right and wrong… love and hate… god and devil… they all come together… one becomes manifest when the other is not… they compliment each other… one cannot exist without the other.

Take love and hate for example…
Anybody that has delved into relationship has come to know, through experience, that you can love and hate the same person… the two come together… they can not be separated… just in a matter of a split moment…as in the flash of a lightening strike… the change from love to hate, or hate to love, can happen instantaneously… how illogical it is… but it happens…
It happens because they are compliments to each other… they are on the same coin... they come together. One manifests when the other is not... one is seen while the other lies hidden...

Most established religions have adopted the idea of there being a god and a devil to try to explain away the fact that love and hate actually come together… the devil is the hate part… and god is the love.

But, really, ‘devil’ is another name for the immature mind… and ‘god’ is another name for mature mind… god is when the devil is not… god is when the immature mind is not… one manifests when the other is not… one cannot exist without the other… they both have equal importance in the doctrines that have been created around these so-called religions.

Hence, there is really no good and bad... no right or wrong... no god and devil... no saint and no sinner…
There is only consciousness and unconsciousness...

Understand that the conflict that you are experiencing is in you… It is the fight between your immature mind and the mature mind. It is the ego that is the immature mind. It is in fear of its own death… so it makes a problem that will take a great effort to solve in order to keep itself alive…
Because ego only can exist when it struggles… so it creates a conflict of the evil forces versus the forces of good… it creates this drama so it can become stronger… to live on…

"I fully believe that some dark forces had an eye on me, and then attacked me in my moment of vulnerability."
This is an ego creation... normally, ego generates the idea that one is in some way special. To have the idea that one has been chosen... by dark forces... this makes you very special... it is a creation of the ego… it also appears as though you will have to make a great effort to overcome these dark forces… ego will grow quite strong with so much work to be done…

The ego can be a very slippery eel when you think you understand it… got it nailed down… the ego can appear very easily as a great humbling quality… when it feels the need to do so… it is a master of disguises… one can go on fooling oneself ad infinitum… it can be the very one that says it is not the ego…

All thoughts are not who you are… they come in and they go out… it is possible to receive and transmit thought… from others and to others…
Regardless of where these voices come from… it is not who you are… but you are believing them to be real… hence, they will be real to you... a disconnect to real life... but a world created by ego... and real for you.

The other does not exist… only oneself exists… one creates the other, too… hence, the world exists… you can be in the world and, yet, not have it be in you…

If you have really deeply meditated… then you know that meditation is the art of putting your mind aside… and relaxing into yourself… into absolute aloneness... where no one else exists... nothing else exists... the self does not exist... only 'no self'.
Putting the voices aside…it is the same… it only becomes a problem because your ego does not want to die… It is basically the fear of death that is haunting you… the death of your ego.
