You'd probably get different opinions on that from different doctors. Whether damage is reversible or not depends on your body's ability to detox, whicih depends on your diet, metabolism, and genetics, as well as the quantity of Hg taken in, and the time schedule of its admission.

I've been taking 300 mg per day of Iodine for the last two days. I woke up with an amazing sense of mental clarity this morning. You may wish to investigate Iodine as a flushing agent for mercury and other metals, as the use of such for same has been documented in the art.
