Iodine didn't help me deal with Acne and only made it worse. Acne is a symptom of a disrupted digestive system and you'll have to address that through nutrition. Going low carb, high fat and protein (LCHF) helped my Acne and other skin issues. Read the book 'Good calories, Bad calories' by Gary Taubes and you'll get the gist. After going low carb you can go even further - to zero carb, which is even better.
