some thoughts
I ate a cooked platano. It feels like the same way a bagel does in my stomach. It just sits there. Anyway, I ate half a platano and was making a cup of coffee when a distant memory came back to me. It was about school. This was all triggered by my mechanic who came this morning wanting his money, the rest of it, despite not doing a satisfactory job imho. I didn’t have a good night’s sleep and this morning I woke up to heavy rain so I was a bit unsettled when my sister woke me up to tell me he was here wanting his $55 dollars. He’s such a whiney, little bitch acting like he’s doing me favor ... read more
Ways I Put Myself Down...the subtle and not-so-subtle! 19 y
brief whine session... sort of!
Tonight I reread something I wrote on another forum concerned headcoverings and modest dressing for christian women. At first I didn’t consider it to be a put down of myself but as I thought it about it, it made me more upset to think about it. Well not upset but made me wonder how I see myself. I’ve also been eating out of control not super bingeing but just overeating. I’m under so much stress from my own self and family members, especially my mother. I’m just so tired, so tired I can’t even sleep right now. I sent my fiancee some weird emails that come to think of it were being manipula ... read more

some notes
First off, I noticed that two blogs have been deleted. Most unfortunate. That’s why I try not to discuss my personal political beliefs or highlight any particular situation unless it has complete, total relevance to my life. This internet thing isn’t that serious that we need to get into debates, etc. where people end up getting banned. It’s a health website where people should be built up. Just my two cents.
Next, I found out some news that sent me into a depression yesterday. I called the 1199 union to find out the correction information regarding tuition benefits. My first clue from my ... read more

brief note about eating healthy while "poor"
I’ve made a number of observances about how easy it is to become unhealthy when you are working and not making a lot of money. You become obsessed about food or live on threadbare amounts of the wrong thing. You don’t exercise because you surmise that you’ve worked hard enough. I used to wonder about that when I worked in the health food store. Now that I am working for 1/3 of what I used to make, doing more work but not intellectually stimulating work, I understand the mentality. Being a home health aide is demanding work but not intellectually stimulating work. Sometimes you get a cohere ... read more

some notes about getting in shape to look good in my wedding dress and frugal living
Good evening curezone family... My mother informed me today that my aunt has a dress my cousin never used. It is a five thousand dollar wedding dress that is a size ten. Hence, I’m starting something called the Hallelujah Diet tomorrow. I’m trying to incorporate more walking and if I want to have some muscle I have to start lifting some weights. No gym memberships. I have a total gym wasting away in my backyard.

some brief notes
Food: While I was taking classes in Manhattan I was eating mostly raw every day out of economic necessity. Over the weekend, I was entertaining my boyfriend (now my fiancee) and ate my mom’s barbecue and drank too much coffee. Hence, I’ve seen the differences such food has had on my brain and my emotions. It’s nice to feel light and have a flat belly so I’m doing an experiment with 32 ounces of fresh juice every day. I noticed that when I was juicing green vegetables my facial lines disappeared and my pimples went away. They’re back and my skin peels a little. Also, I’m following the food ... read more
A Shocking Breakthrough! 19 y
brief note
It’s pleasantly shocking. Today I went to take another nursing aide class. I didn’t exactly start off on the right foot waking late. I managed to make my morning lemonade drink. That is:
half a lemon
2-4 ounces of aloe gel
half a capsule of cayenne pepper
3-4 pegs of garlic
dandelion extract
blend together with water and drink... it doesn’t taste bad to me. Anyway, I got into the city and went to class. I brought along a copy of The Hobbit I was trying to read FOREVER and I just start reading and felt myself go off on another plane of existence. It was so strange but I felt compe ... read more

brief notes about period,food,exercise
WARNING!! PERIOD NOTES WHICH CONTAINS GROSS STUFF. WARNING!!! :))
My period was five days long with not that much cramps. I have to record this because when I get married, I’m going to be practicing NFP (natural family planning). I found a neat braclet called ’Cycle Beads’ for ten dollars. I’m not getting married till next year but I want to get accustomed to tracking my periods seriously. Thank goodness I blog because this is like a period tracker for me. I didn’t have much of the same yellow discharge I had last year this time. I’ve not had another outbreak of genital warts since last ... read more
Hiatus is over... 19 y
brief note
I’ve taken off a few days from eating healthy and exercising to evaluate what I want to do and where I want to go. I know flesh food is not what I want, except for fish. I can do without milk except for raw goat milk and cheeses. The most important thing I think that is necessary more than diet, is exercise. At last, my period is healthy and normal and I’m sure it’s because of the mostly vegan diet I was following, including eating raw food and heavy duty juicing right before.
I was pretty bummed out about losing my job but I do feel that Jesus is looking out for me. More on this ’grand ... read more
Interview with Sting in Yoga Journal 19 y
interesting article
The following article/interview appeared in the December 1995 issue of Yoga Journal magazine. The author/ interviewer was Ganga White. writer was Stephen Dalton.
When asked to do an interview with Sting I was reminded of Krishna’s advice to Arjuna many years ago. ”Whatsoever a great man does, that others will also do. Whatsoever he sets up as the standard, that the world follows” (Bhagavad Gita, VIII.21) I thought it would be an inspiration for Yoga students to learn more about this distinguished man and his interest in the ancient art of living. It is a joy and a great honor for me to ... read more

Orthorexia Nervosa self test 19 y
http://www.orthorexia.com/
To see if you have orthorexia, answer the following questions, and give yourself one point for each ”yes” answer.
1. Do you spend more than three hours a day thinking about healthy food? (For four hours, give yourself two points.)
2. Do you plan tomorrow’s food today?
3. Do you care more about the virtue of what you eat than the pleasure you receive from eating it?
4. Have you found that as the quality of your diet has increased, the quality of your life has correspondingly diminished?
5. Do you keep getting stricter with yourself?
6. Do you sacrifice experiences you o ... read more

I’m glad I decided to share this blog with someone I care about very much. I think I could be crossing over into this dangerous territory. It’s bad enough I am a perfectionist. You're FIRED! 19 y
brief note
Well Curezone people, I’ve been sacked from my job at the healthfood store. I had a long day and the delivery man came late with products. He dropped a whole case of juice on the floor. I cleaned it up then packed away some frozen foods. Customers kept coming later and later and I was already past 7:30 there. I cleaned up the minimum amnount necessary then left to meet a client elsewhere. Well I got a phonecall in the middle of the night informing me that I’ve been fired. She claims it was because I left the store in a mess but I know it’s more than that.
I am now spending my time garde ... read more
