Investigator: Painkiller Injection Led To Two Deaths

A painkiller injection at a Portland naturopath clinic is being blamed for killing at least two people, investigators said.
According to our news partner, The Portland Tribune, two people have died from an overdose of the homeopathic drug Colchicine, and there’s likely a third victim.
The Tribune reported that the medicine given to the patients for neck and back aches may have been mislabeled by a Texa ...

They don’t even cite the study, which is highly suspect. I can show you studies that claim chromium picolinate causes cancer because they found when they gave the mice (which are not humans) 6000 times the equivalent level they would give to a human they found it caused mutations in the cells. Studies can be manipulated to prove anything someone wants or misinterpreted o get whatever outcome they want to present. This is why we have to actually look at the studies to see how they were done and what the actual outcome was to see if there was any manipulation.
And just because a plant has ...

Dermatitis Herpetiformis is something I have ruled out for myself. In my opinion though, it should be considered in a differential diagnosis by any Physician.

I first noticed that gluten flaired my vasculitis. The discussion of the probable mechanism of action would best be left to the CZ:

I just posted this on the site:
Despite all of the self-serving posts from the folks who will be making huge profits off the new drug, this smacks to me of the FDA once again serving the profits and interests of pharmaceutical companies instead of the public they are supposed to serve.
Virtually all drugs have side effects and so does the new Colcrys. Supposedly any decision to prescribe a drug comes down to risks versus benefits. The historical use of cochicine would seem to make it much safer than a great many commonly prescribed drugs. Besides, FDA approval does not always ...

eksangha, Colchicine is a drug approved for oral use!
by LCD 17 y
Eksangha,
Colchicine is a drug approved for oral use!
It has never been approved for IV use. Portland naturopath clinic was injecting the drug directly into the blood stream. That is #1 problem.
#2 problem: the drug was 10 times more concentrated then what it was suppose to be.
I think you have been jumping on conclusions here ... this incident has nothing to do with FDA.
If you take some common groceries ... and you press a juice and you pump it into people IV, you can kill them, ... without the need for groceries being FDA approved.

Nettle leaves are excellent for removing uric acid. This would be my first choice. Nettles are also good for the kidneys, which is important since the uric acid can also cause kidney damage.
Safflowers, juniper berries, cherries, celery seed, and cherry stem tea are also great. The juniper berries should not be used for more than 4-5 days without a break to prevent kidney irritation from the essential oil of the berries. The berries also lower blood sugar, and so should be used with caution if you are prone to hypoglycemia.

Approximately 1 million Americans are afflicted with the excruciating pain caused by gout. Without immediate attention, an attack can last days or weeks, so it’s not surprising that gout sufferers welcome any method or remedy that halts gout for good.
Gout is best controlled with correct lifestyle habits, careful eating and anti-inflammatory nutrients.
Gout is a type of arthritis caused by excessive amounts of uric acid in the blood that usually settles and crystallizes in the big toe, though other joints and organs can be affected. The characteristic redness, swel ...

I do suspect I have hypothyroidism as was recently told I have a multinodular goiter and all the symptoms but the t3/t4 test shows normal.
Lab tests frequently miss cases of hypothyroidism. Part of this is due to the temporary rise in thyroid hormones from the stress of going to the doctor. Another factor is elevation of rT3, which interferes with the body’s use of T3. So a person can have normal TSH, T3 and T4 and still be hypothyroid. A more accurate way to determine thyroid function is through basal body temperature:
