If you have dyshidrotic eczema (and you should get diagnosed by a DOCTOR to make sure it isn’t something else), I sincerely hope this will help. This is an old post but in case anyone is looking for a treatment for this, I have done this: Soak hands in 1/3 vinegar 2/3 water solution for 30 mins every day for 4 days. Get the water really hot, and use organic Apple Cider Vinegar. My hands felt amazing - I had an outbreak ongoing and the itchiness disapeared with the first soak. I have tried tons of remedies for dyshidrotic eczema and finally found what worked. I have read that it may be due to a nickel allergy. Vitamin c and iron block nickel absorption. I started taking a timed release vitamin c and a multivitamin with iron(one at lunch and the other at dinner)and the itching and rash is gone. I had pompholyx for almost 10 years. I used corticosteroids, creams, soaks, etc. Nothing worked. It turned out that I had Candida overgrowth and when I treated it, then the eczema went away completely. I would also warn others about the candida die off symptoms. They are extreme and horrible. I recommend following the candida diet plan. I wish I knew about it before I eliminated sugar from my diet and took antifungals.   [End]

I have been dealing with this for 18 years and I have found out what causes my flareups. It is washing my hands or body with any kind of ANTIBACTERIAL SOAP. Try using a soap like dove or old spice that does not contain any antibacterial ingredients. It will take a couple weeks to see a difference. I’ve also noticed that if I use any antibacterial products of any kind I will have a full relapse filled with lots of itching, blisters, and cracking. I know your pain, I’ve been there. I’ll start out by saying I never went to a doctor for this but my symptoms were all there-small itchy bumps filled with liquid that were usually in clusters, sometimes singe bumps. I was diagnosed by a dermatologist with dyshidrotic eczema (had it on 5 fingers). I used raw organic unfiltered ACV and it worked well. I placed it on a cotton pad and put it on the dyshidrosis for one minute once a day (also made the acv cocktail and drank twice a day). It seems to have cleared up in about 2 weeks. I know this is an old thread but I would like to share what worked for me so that it might help someone else. I had Dyshidrotic Eczema on my hands and feet for many years until I gave up processed sugar. The Eczema went away and it has been a year. I’m not saying it will work for everybody but it might help someone else. It was not an easy task for me to give up foods containing sugar as I had a very sweet tooth (candida overgrowth). Dyshidrotic Eczema (or Pompholix) is quite different from other kinds of eczema. What you have (Johng and Alixmama) is not what KYSufferer has. I know that because I do since 12 years and treatments effective for you don’t work for us. I’ve been to many doctors and dermatologists like him/her and aside from the first 4 or 5 wrong diagnosis, I was eventually diagnosed with cronic dyshidrotic eczema. I confirm fungal nature. I had it right after using the makeup of a girl who had it (exactly the same, same place, etc). It’s contagious, but not with everyone, like warts are, but not as much. There is an allergic ground. I believe people who are likely to be sensitive to the contagion, have often gluten allergy, cow milk sensitivity and can also possibly have eczema or asthma. Thank you all for the recommendation of California Baby shampoo, which I found at Target. It is expensive, but I can’t believe how much better my hands are now. I’d like to say they are completely cured, but I’m afraid of jinxing it. I too believe this is yeast related. Same as candidia, I quit eating breads and sugars (feeds yeast) my hands slowly started to clear. My derm gave me diflucan which is not good for your liver , but worked great. Diflucan, is by prescription only but kills yeast. After 3rd day of taking it my excema began to clear quickly.
