something interesting...

I have always had trouble with fruit as i would get extremely dry burned skin after eating citrus or other fruits like peaches. apple cider vinegar did the same thing. same for kefir, which like acv and fruit, is supposed to be alkalyzing. I learned something very interesting recently that explained by these alkaline foods had the opposite reaction. my body lacked the bicarbonates to oxidize the natural acids. so the effect on my body was detrimental.

Ted the guru at earthclinic clued me on this. adding some sodium bicarb and potassium bicarb can help this situation quickly. Ted advises mixing baking soda with acv, or alternative, baking soda with fresh squeezed lime juice. that way the oxidation occurs before it goes in your body. the results have been wonderful for me. the benefits of acv and lime juice, without the burn.
