Re: Q:how to go about "finding" in a dream someone I dreamt about last night?

holy shit...I'd forgotten about this post.

here's the freaky part. I remember in the dream that there was something having to do with work, that this guy had a young daughter (I'm pretty sure it was just ONE young daughter Edit: Whoops! reread my initial post. in the dream he had a young son...HOWEVER! the real live guy's daughter's name is Riley and we talked about how that was an unusual but good choice though it's typically a male name), and that there was something sad about this guy that needed fulfilling.

Last thursday (so, one week and one day ago) I meet a guy at work, who I really like (didn't look like the guy in my dream though.) He eventually tells me about how his wife died two years ago due to leukemia and he's raising his three year old daughter alone.

I gave him my email. I'm only in town for a couple of months and he said, "so basically you're going to be in town for a couple months, and then break my heart? I'll take it!"

funny thing was...I knew he was important talking to him (even before he'd told me his history and his present), and soon after something told me that this guy was the one I was going to marry.... I didn't FEEL that way (not a big fan of marriage) but something outside of myself told me that.

Sucker still hasn't emailed me...nor come into work looking for me.

I have to wonder if he's backing away because he felt really unsure of himself after telling me about his wife, and also I work in a bar so I think he might have gotten the impression that I was some wild girl who gave out her contact info to all the guys.

-sigh-

I know if it's meant to be, it's meant to be, but I'm a partial fate/partial free-will believer. Fate does it's stuff and then you've got to make select choices... so, I'm sad/worried that he's chosen against fate on this one (and I'm pretty sure fate was interfering in his thoughts like it was in mine. :/
